  1. I think we have a nice nucleus of young players but they all have some flaws. They are all looking at I pads in the dugout after a bad at-bat but are they actually learning anything, take Sosa, he keeps swinging at balls way out of the strike zone, none of them except for maybe Quero cut down on their swing with 2 strikes. This is where good coaching comes into play, what is our hitting coach teaching these kids.
  2. I’m really upset, Jerry Reinsdorf’s White Sox are now 162 games under .500 the last three years. I’ve been a Baseball and Sox fan since 1952 and without a doubt the White Sox since 2022 are the worst team of my lifetime. Reinsdorf has to go down as one of the worst owners in the history of the game, this cretin in his 44 years of ownership has just about destroyed the franchise where it’s the laughingstock of Baseball. I’m amazed that there are any Sox fans left at all and if he isn’t going to spend money this off-season and truly try improve the team then it’s going to be another long year in 2026. What’s more amazing is that this man has no shame at all, in a perfect world, Reinsdorf who is a disgrace to the game would be forced by MLB to sell the franchise but unfortunately that will never happen. The man lied to us after the 2023 season and said he would improve the club. Instead they lost 121 games in 2024. Hate is a horrible word but I’m sorry, I hate this man and what he has done to my team.
  3. Great job getting out of a huge jam.
  4. I think we can forget the 78, there’s no money to pay for it. I’m actually down on the 78 as I’m not sure that it’s all that great of a site, they probably would get some tourists but along as Wrigley is around, that is still the place they want to see a game at. Parking would be limited at the 78 and as many many Sox fans live in the SW burbs and they would probably be happier at the current location. The Rate has great public transportation and a major highway at it’s doorstep. Looking at Google Earth I’m wondering how many fans walk to games, there are many homes in the Bridgeport area, the area east of the Ryan is being reborn, are the White Sox an asset to the neighborhood or are they just another business. They need to become an asset. What the Sox first have to do is some work at the park, the UD is a problem but you can’t tear it down so make improvements around the rest of the park where people really want to see games there, maybe changing the dimensions and adding some kind of a homer deck in right field. I would actually think of taking out some more rows in the upper deck cutting it down to maybe even only 8 rows to where it would be a cozy place to watch a game. The lost seats could be made up with the homer deck in right field. The Angels had the blandest ballpark in MLB and they did a nice job changing their ballpark, I saw one game there back in 1975 when it was in its original form and 4 games since they remodeled it, quite a transformation. Also turn some of the parking lots and 35th street into entertainment, restaurant and tavern venues and also play up the area around the ballpark with the locals, make it truly White Sox country calling it Soxville or even Comiskeyville. All what I have said won’t mean a thing unless the Sox start becoming a winning team, that’s the first order of business and as long as JR is around the Sox will continue to be the laughing stock of MLB. and hemorrhage more fans, we need Ishbia ASAP.
  5. Because Venable ran out of players, he pinch hit for a bunch of guys in the 7th inning.
  6. After last year I wasn’t sure if they could draw 1 million. Sox fans really liked and appreciated most of the players on the team as they were just about always in games and never gave up.
  7. Todays attendance, 24,205. 2025 total home attendance, 1,445,738. Nice to see a bunch of Sox players throwing T- Shirts to the fans.
  8. That’s where the game has changed that bothers me the most.
  9. If Corey Lee can play LF, maybe they can try Sosa there.
  10. Back in the game but we just can’t get a big hit.
  11. Can’t blame Sosa on that one, bad pickoff throw.
  12. We need more power in the outfield corners, at least 50 homers, Beni and Tauchman might give you 30.
  13. That’s why I’ve been saying since he came up that they should groom him for first base.
  14. 2 tough pitches by Darwish to get Meidroth.
  15. Don’t get to many games, commute is 1,300 miles. We do take in games when the Sox play the Rays at the Trop, 90 miles door to door. I have watched just about every game this year except when they’re out west, you are correct, they have been very entertaining and these young guys should only get better and I think it would be a crime if they don’t bring in some quality free agents this off season.
  16. What JR has done to the White Sox franchise in his 44 years of ownership is despicable, it’s amazing that there are any Sox fans left at all because of this man, what’s more amazing is that the Sox will draw close to 1.5 million this season.
  17. We need 30+ homer guys in outfield corners. Beni should be the LH DH and will still get plenty of bats as there are more right handed pitchers. It will be interesting if JR gives the OK to bring on some free agents, if not then the Sox will be facing another year of losing baseball but probably avoid 100 losses. Of course we are dealing with JR so my guess is no significant free agents will be signed and it will be more of the same with 2nd and 3rd rate free agents brought aboard.
  18. He does seem like truly a nice guy and in a perfect world he would be a keeper as a broadcaster. If he’s going to stay then I hope something clicks and he makes us proud. One thing, he is better than last year.
