This is one perplexing situation and I’m on the fence but not worried about his age, whichever way they go, it’s a gamble. The one thing for sure is that he is one great centerfielder but his production is not worth his salary, he still can’t get to a .700 OPS, if he was just at .750 I would keep him.

I’ve seen hundreds on the golf course, we don’t bother them and they don’t bother us. Things get a bit goofy during mating season as the males are on the move and can wind up in swimming pools and you see them taking strolls down streets or hanging out under cars.

Wow, I don’t think I ever heard about that pitcher getting struck by lightning and then coming back and finishing the game. I have played over 4500 rounds of golf since moving to Florida and came close to getting hit by lightning a few times including this past Friday.

He gets the job done and there’s no doubt he’s not running at 100% with some gimpy leg issues but this guy has probably been the best signing by Getz of all the vets he has signed in his 2 years as GM.

Yep, we were historically bad last year so what I’m getting from your take is that it was impossible not to improve but the way the team played in April of this year I thought they were trying for a repeat of the 41 wins of last year.
