Moncada actually dealing with a back issue.
This is because we have and have had a horrible Minor League organization, terrible instruction and coaches, I have no idea what they teach our prospects but whatever it is, it ain't working. This goes back to what JR and EE said many years ago, they don't like spending money on potential.

Moncada actually dealing with a back issue.
And the hits keep coming. I know it's still early and Andersons injury was because of a collision but the Sox are going to have to figure out how much longer after this season they want to continue to pay guys like Moncada and Eloy who spend significant time on the IL. The hard part will be finding buyers for some of our guys.

Lenyn Sosa Called Up // Anderson out 2-4 weeks
White Sox players have given the phrase ''injury prone'' a whole new meaning.

4/10- Sox at Twins, 1:10
Same old story with this crowd, Moncada, Eloy and now TA with injuries, the Sox have either have the worst luck in MLB when it comes to injuries or the most fragile players I have seen in my 71 years as a Sox fan. How much longer before Luis Robert goes down with some ailment. White Sox.com has yet to report on TA heading to the IL or Sosa being called up so lets hope TA is OK but If Sosa is called up who goes down.

Oscar Colas is good
The kid is only 24 but has had quite a bit of experience including 2 years in the Japan League, so I'm not that surprised.

This Day In Sox History...April 10
Nelie Fox loved hitting at old Briggs or later Tiger Stadium, he might have won a batting title or 2 if he had played for the Tigers instead of the White Sox.

Middleton Called Up
When will Reinsdork be DFA. The Chicago American League Baseball Club will continue to be a clown show until this pathetic miser and his fellow Bozo owners sell the franchise.

GT Easter Sunday: SOX @ PIT, 12:35 pm, NBCSC
How do you rest your best player when the season is only a week old? Give me a break. I guess we have to expect stuff like this with such fragile players. I once played tennis 45 days in a row and didn't even get paid.

What I do miss about the last three years of the Ozzie era…
Getting down to basics, if you looked up "People who wore out their welcomes" in the Encyclopedia Britannica, Ozzie Guillen's picture would be the first one shown. Don't miss him one bit.

GT: 4/1 | Sox (1-1) @ Astros (1-1) | Giolito vs. Urquidy
I agree, it's only 3 games and if we win tomorrow we get a split in HST which is pretty good against the World Cheaters in their home park. There are concerns with the bullpen and with Robert who seems lost while at the plate, not sure what he worked on in ST but he hasn't adjusted at all from last year still swinging at bad pitches. We need to give Grifol a little time also, sounds like some want to can the guy already.

I believe Lip meant that the Sox needed to trade Moncada, not actually cut him or DFA him.

GT: 4/1 | Sox (1-1) @ Astros (1-1) | Giolito vs. Urquidy
Agree on everything you said especially with Moncada, he's my least favorite Sox player since Claudell Washington.

GT: 4/1 | Sox (1-1) @ Astros (1-1) | Giolito vs. Urquidy
Good bullpen management is only as good as your arms in the bullpen, the White Sox don't have those arms.

GT: 4/1 | Sox (1-1) @ Astros (1-1) | Giolito vs. Urquidy
Who was the pitcher on KC that said the White Sox were the easiest team to get out, they will swing at anything.

Maybe time for see what Sheets is like at 1B.

Yoan has a chance of coming off my s%*# list but might be replaced by Robert.

Last Comiskey Documentary...
I think most of us had some emotions during the 1990 season as very soon a place that we loved would not be us with any longer. I'm going to go back to 1981 for another emotional game, my cousin and I attended a game in June against the Yankees, it was the last night before the players were to go on strike. The Sox were playing great ball and IIRC were a game out of first as the addition of Fisk and Luzinski made Sox contenders for the first time since the 77 season. The Sox won that game and not knowing how long the strike would be my cousin and I were literally the last fans to leave the park, we just sat there looking out at that wonderful green grass with all those green seats and I remember my cousin saying ''God, I love this place", nothing more was needed to say as we finally left the park with tears in our eyes.

Last Comiskey Documentary...
Correct on all points, the Wrigley's did a good job with the sightlines down in the corners. If I had one beef about old Comiskey was that if you sat down in the corners they were some of the worst seats in MLB as you left with a stiff neck, the worst seats were actually if there was a full house and you got stuck in the last seat in the last row down the right field line up ln the lower grandstand seats, not only did you have to crane your neck but at that part of the park you had to deal with 2 support beams, I sort of knew the ballpark pretty good not only from attending a couple hundred games from 1955 until it closed but I also was a vendor there and at Wrigley during the 1962 season.

Last Comiskey Documentary...
Comiskey was super and I have so many memories beginning with my first game in 1955 but Chicago Stadium was something special, IMHO it was the greatest hockey arena ever built and the place will never be duplicated. What a shame that those 2 great places are no longer with us.

The 2023 f*** It Thread
I've been a fan since 1952 and I'm very close especially after the 2022 season to not giving a **** anymore. At 77 years old not too many things excite me anymore but I might be pretty excited with new ownership, 41 years of JR and company are enough.

Lightning in a Bottle; Sox have amazing year?
I think they will be better than last year which isn’t saying a lot. First, they have to stay healthy. Second, some attitude adjustments are in order especially from Moncada and Anderson. Third, who will be the closer now that Liam is out probably for the year. Fourth, I hope I’m wrong but I think the loss of Abreu is going to hurt, who is going to step up and be the leader. Fifth point, who is the rightfielder? 6th point and on the good side is I think that the addition Benintendi is going to help and that Grifol is going to be a damn good manager. If things go their way, I say the Sox go 86-76 and contend for a WC.

Ron Karkovice- Random Stat
Nahorodny better than Karkovice, no way. I’d take Karko 7 days a week with twice on Sunday.
