  1. I think what bothers most fans is not the height but the steepness of the UD.
  2. JR should surprise us all and do the right thing and sell now to Ishbia and get this thing rolling.
  3. Good point, I probably attended around 200 games at old Comiskey and never did we do something in Bridgeport, never ate at a restaurant unless you want to count the McDonalds by the “L” at 35th and State which wasn’t in Bridgeport. Quite a few times we stopped in Chinatown on the way home, a few times before night games we would stop at Mama Batts Deli/restaurant on Cermak and Michigan for a great corned beef sandwich.
  4. We need to get on a roll and win every game on this homestand, I think it’s doable as the starting pitching came around this past week except for Castillo who can be replaced with a bullpen game.
  5. Funny thing, I grew up in Rogers Park in the 50s and 60s, the neighborhood was 50/50 with Jewish and Christians, I had many Jewish friends and only 1 was a Cub fan, he was a Sox fan but switched when the Sox traded Minnie Minoso after the 1957 season. With my fellow Christians, again only 1 Cub fan and from birth, he was my best friend and unfortunately died in 2003, his grandson is Bobby Miller with the Dodgers who was their number 1 pick a few years ago but has been injury plagued the last few years.
  6. I lived in the Wheaton area from 1972 until our move to Florida in 1993 and I thought there was a slight majority of Sox fans in the Wheaton-Glen Ellyn area. That’s 33 years ago so I have no idea what things are like now.
  7. Any mention of the proposed seating capacity?
  8. The Sox have to take care of their own business, they have no control over what Cleveland is doing except when we play them. It would be nice to get on a roll and win every game on this homestand.
  9. That ball should have been caught.
  10. I would have given him the weekend off.
  11. Should have never tried the throw.
  12. When he was hurt the 3rd time I thought the Sox would shut him down for the year but I’m glad he’s back.
  13. I wouldn’t mind 2 or 3 more runs.
  14. No ha ha about it, I hate the Red Sox.
  15. The Red Sox were very tough, 0-6 against them as we caught then when they were on fire.
  16. He’s really out of whack.
  17. Here comes #30 by Mune.
  18. Just missed that, lucky for us.
