Is WCIU really this bad? Is there an HD channel for DirecTV or what because the picture I'm getting is brutal.

Just last week I had upper deck seats for the Red Sox game on a Monday night and I got there at about 5 so I could get seats just outside the bullpen bar at field level. Once I got there I found out you can pay $15 (maybe $20) for an upgrade and sit in the patio seats above the bar. It is all on a first come first serve basis so I would get there pretty early. IMO the upgrade was definitely worth it if your seats aren't that good and it's better than sitting at the tables at ground level because you don't have to look through a fence the entire game.

IMHO I think with the current state of our farm system and player contracts, without a drastic increase in team payroll, we are 4-5 years away from winning another AL central title (if we draft well/develop some talent/sign the right FA). The tigers, indians, and twins all arguably have brighter futures and better upper management than the White Sox. This sounds awfully depressing but somewhat true.

kenny williams has assembled and disassembled a world series team all within the matter of 3 seasons. that my friends is no easy task.

without looking at any statistics from a year ago, it seemed like we played down to our competition. i don't always know that playing weaker teams plays to the advantage of the sox

its almost like this lineup flips a switch when they're behind and then turns it right back off when they get the lead. hopefully they realize how shaky this bullpen is right now and that they need plenty of insurance

Is Eric Wedge serious? I haven't heard any talks of him getting fired even though a team hasn't underperformed like this in awhile. And I think the Indians bullpen is the scariest team in the wild card/division race.

If Owens replaced Pods he would be playing LF. Yes LF not CF. But anyways, I'm thinking Owens won't be on the major league team all summer.
