We can live with Uribe at SS. He just has to refocus. He's shown he can play well for a post-season team. What we're lacking is another solid middle relief guy and a center fielder. Those are the two problems Kenny W needs to address.

Anderson needs to have some success -- somewhere. A month at Charlotte might remind him that once upon a time he could actually hit the ball. I'm all for dumping Gload, too. There are a few guys at Charlotte who deserve a look.

Anderson would have to hit over .300 for the rest of the year to get his season batting average to .250. Not happening. he needs a chance to regroup. His confidence has to be shaky -- and if we start losing and he's getting more blame, he'll feel even worse. We need a legit CF. But there aren't many out there.

I've never heard anybody on the Sox say Garland is a flake. buehrle is flakier with his tarp slides, cream pies and catchng the opening pitch from fans. Garland just ain't intense. good stuff, mediocre execution. take away his 8-0 start last season and he's pretty much been a .500 pitcher his entire career.
