Fairyotti with predictable whining about "light" punishment
wonder if his bosses ever think if there is a reason all these folks despise him. he's NEVER wrong?

is ozzie affecting the team?
let's not give the Moron at the Sun-times any of our time. please.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!!!&#
reason to like our team. Papi is their cleanup guy. Crede is our sixth or seventh hitter.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!!!&#
damn. things been pretty good since the dugout meltdown in Arlington. Let's not forget to say thank you to that model citizen -- Vincent Padilla. He got the party started.

MAGGS just doubled in two runs with two outs in the eighth. Tigers have gone ahead 3-1 after being down 1-0.

ST Poll: Should Pablo Ozuna become an everyday starter?
first time his glove went clank -- and it would -- everybody would turn on him. we need a spark off the bench/ his average ain't going to stay that high. and ozzie said publicly Friday that he does not believe Pablo is an everyday player.

The team that's taking the biggest hit is ... the indians. They were supposed to win the damn thing, according to many experts. At last glance, they are closer to KC than Detroit in the standings. The Twinkies just zoomed past them this weekend. Injun players gotta be wondering what the hell is going on. As for the Tigers, I gotta figure their pitching will backslide at some point. The Gambler usually softens in the second half. Can't believe verlander can withstand the load and Maroth has already gone down. But ... I'm getting tired of waiting for them to crack.

Props to Sox Fans re: Cincy
sox fans were so loud and relentless on Sunday, that Reds fans had to boo to drown out the cheering. Impressive.

White Sox @ Reds
ozzie sez iguchi struggling against lefties -- and he means it also heard that Widgie was going to play more because Oz thinks AJ has played too many games.
-
And thats a Cubs loser
Tigers got a huge break not having to face Zambrainless or Maddocks.

Farmer on Score
finally some insight. now we need somebody to get something out of the Rangers about what AJ had to be hit TWICE.

Was Guillen Out Of Line Last Night?
pulling him, b****ing him out in public and putting him on the first flight to Charlotte seems extreme for a kid who has been in the big leagues for a week. Why risk ruining the guy's pscyhe for the rest of the season? I'd be stunned if he ever pitches for the Sox again. I would expect him to be traded. Hard to imagine how you could bring him back into the clubhouse after he'd been neutered in front of his teammates like that. Could have been handled more effectively in a much more private manner.

Post game show?
When they are fastballs to the midsection, it's intentional. breaking balls and changeups are mistakes. So are fastballs that get away. But those pitches looked like Padkilla thought he was at the county fair.

Post game show?
Two Things: I still haven's seen ANYBODY explain why Padilla has a reason to hit AJ TWICE. That's wayyyyy outside the lines. 2 -- Farmio played for Martin in Detroit in 1973. Martin was fired by the Tigers that season for ordering pitchers to throw at hitters.

it's OK to wear the hat, as long as you wear a Bartman mask.

Did I miss it?
AJ got hit twice for being AJ? nothing else? If I'm AJ, I'm more pissed at my pitchers than I am at the Rangers.
-
Did I miss it?
sorry if this question seems silly, but .... What was the reason for Padilla to throw at AJ? That's what I don't understand.
