-
Chicago @ Boston - ALDS Game 3
it's now 35 walks in 45 innings. What's so hard to figure out? he can't throw strikes to any freakin buddy. If Marte throws one more pitch in the post-season, Guillen, Cooper and everybody else on the coaching staff should be fired. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Chicago @ Boston - ALDS Game 3
let's take a break on the running game with Pods for a bit -- like until 2006 1 for 3 this series, I believe

Ed Farmer Thoughts
Farmio is first-class, top of the line. Knows the game. Loves the White Sox. anybody who refused to report to the Yankees in a trade will always get my love.
-
Chris Berman?
Berman violates the number one part of his job: He ain't the show. The game is. Hit mute and listen to Rooney and Farmio
-
Congrats from the Cubs
cubs don't dislike us as much as we dislike them. Another sign of their weakness

2005 BOSOX = 2000 CHISOX
QUOTE(The Critic @ Oct 4, 2005 -> 12:02 AM) I'd like nothing better than for the 2005 Red Sox to have the same playoff result as the 2000 White Sox. including the crushing Game Three squeeze bunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
good news!!!!!!
ESPN wants Red Sox-yankees so bad they can hardly stand it. me? I think the Yankees would be an easier second-round opponent than the Angels. To me, the Angels are the team I fear the most.

Pat Kelly Died
pat kelly helped the sox win plenty of games. decent hitter. Some pop. could steal a base. Always smiling.Always played hard. nice left-handed hitter. most famous picture i remember of him is when he was one of the guys wearing short pants. RIP PK

the truth hurts

Possible 2006 radio preview?
Jeff Torborg

What's your #1 key to a ALDS win?
Carl Everett or Jermaine Dye has to produce ahead of Paulie so Boston can't pitch around him
-
good news!!!!!!
four experts, led by Mariotti and Paige, all picked against the White Sox. They split two-two on Yankees-Angels series but nobody is picking the White Sox to win. which is fine with me

Boston @ Chicago - ALDS Game 1
gotta figure most of the national media picks the Carmines. they can't get enough of BoSox Yankees., If we pitch the right way, we've got a legit shot. Our pitchers were falling apart in 2000. Parque was never the same. Neither was Baldwin. And Sirotka never pitched again. This staff should give us a better chance. at least that's the plan

99-63, 2nd best team in Sox history
Aj homer against the Dodgers Crede homer vs. The Tribe Iguchi being the goods. Pods stealing the league blind for three months. Jon G. going 8-0. Buehrle starting and winning the all-star game. Frank showing up to hit bomb after bomb for five weeks. Jermaine Dye helping us forget about Magglio. Dustin Hermanson making us forget about Shingo. Neil Cotts becoming unhittable. Brian Anderson's two homers against Seattle ARow catching everything in Yankee Stadium. Paulie hitting 40 -- and hopefully getting a new contract. BMac beating Boston on the one-day trip bobby Jenks hitting triple digits on the mph. Freddy winning the clincher at Detroit. and Baseball Prospectus predicting we would battle the Royals for last place in the AL Central. You can look THAT up in the 2005 Baseball Prospectus YearBOOK

The Count and the Red Sox.
he's struggled against Boston in the past, but had a decent start against them this year. I'm more worried about using the count against Los Angeles because they steal his butt blind.
-
BMAC not on 25 man for ALDS?
i'm in favor of El Duque he knows the playoff drill. did OK in relief over the weekend. And he's an asset on the bench 'cause he knows the Red Sox hitters better than anybody.

Here's a Toast
Contreras and whomever (Rowand, Sweeney, Anderson) for AJ Burnett. that would have been a difference-making trade
-
I'm disappointed
rather play boston than Anaheim three main reasons. 1. Angels have much better starters and a deeper pen. Boston pitching is no only injured, they'll have to start either Clement or Arroyo against us (Arroyo for sure if they have a one-game playoff with Cleveland). 2. Angels run like hell against us with Figgins, Cabrera and others. Boston doesn't try to steal. 3. Angels just beat our brains in at Comiskey in early September and we play like do-do on the West Coast. We played Boston much better. All we have to remember is DO NOT LET Ortiz or Ramirez beat you.
