Montgomery looks like the generic guy in the 20th season of a video game.

Possibly. I live in NYC and it’s still light, so lights have not taken effect yet.

Cost them the game last night. Hopefully, they get an XBH when it counts later on.

5/18 White Sox @ Twins 6:40 PM
Hmmm, letting Eaton hit in that situation was... questionable.

I'm getting a baaaaad feeling. Leaving a million guys on base, not adding on, walking the lead off guy...

5/18 White Sox @ Twins 6:40 PM
Well, he's not going to have to worry about that for much longer.

Should he really be swinging on 3-2? What about sportsmanship?

5-18-21 Games
Or possibly they were punishing Reylo for Mercedes swinging 3-0?

I agree. If you retaliate for showing up the position player you had pitching, you should seek counseling.

Andrew Vaughn Hype Thread
Very happy Vaughn got a couple plays in right tonight. Versatility is a good thing.

Twins are lucky this isn't 6-1.

Madrigal.
If this is all Madrigal turns out to be, then that's okay, but the Sox should be open to replacing him with someone better. Maybe Jose Rodriguez in a couple of years?

5/16/21 Games
Yes, both. He played left in spring and has played rf about half the time in Charlotte so far.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Sheets actually isn’t bad out there. He’s a big guy, but he’s in really good shape, and moves well. In a world where the opposition is striking out a quarter of the time or more, sacrificing offense for defense is questionable. But, if you want defense, Luis Gonzalez is better in right than anyone currently on the roster except probably Hamilton. Anyway, both of them are better than Lamb.
