I guess as a manager you don't want to burn out your bullpen... and Chris Sale is your ace. But you could just see he never really had control tonight. I don't get leaving him in. I don't think it had anything to do with the line drive.

Its actually 2 out of 3 bad starts since the all star break.

Sale needs to get his S*** figured out. We aren't going anywhere with out him.

Robin is still Robin. But more worrisome is that Sale is not Sale lately.

It looks like it might rain but the scattered type. Likely that they get it in.

Chances are we would never Face Toronto in a one game playoff.. unless Houston or LA collapse. That trade does help Toronto quite a bit.... however even with that they have 3 bad starters and 2 good ones with a suspect bull pen (though their bullpen era atm is similar to ours). I commend them on their efforts... it might pay off but their pitching is still weak. There defense is also at the bottom of the league.

left so many chances to blow this game open.

alexei has been horrid of late with a runner on 3rd and less than 2... It's amazing that a guy with such poor stats, who can't hit major league fastballs get so many starts at catcher. I'm not saying never play... but everyday catcher. It's just wow.

I agree with Dick... This series with Boston will determine a lot... I'm thinking the coaching staff might even use this as a motivation (if the players care about being together) If this team wants to stay together it has to keep winning. If they lose the first two in Boston the sale begins.

LaRoche needs to hit the bench... throwing him out there right now is a mistake. He is just downward spiraling. He needs a week off at least.

The manager and half the roster needs to go tomorrow. Probably the GM also. To think I actually thought this team was going to be good.
