its getting old watching other teams launch the ball out of park and then we hit weak ground ball to the short stop.

he might do good with some time off... but there are no options worth a shit on the bench.

i doubt he will be back in the line-up too soon. It was a bruise but he couldn't even walk. Bruises are often worse than they sound. like i said in the game thread i bruised my shoulder once and was convinced i broke my collarbone - i was playing bball and got trucked. I tried to shoot a free throw to test it out and literally yelled in pain. I went right to the emergency room and xrays were negative - a bruise. It took a couple weeks to heal. I hope it doesn't keep him out too long

when did he ever look like a starter though? This obsession's this board had with making a starter never made sense. He threw 101... and you dont see any starters that throw that hard and he had two pitches. then this year down to 96 and still only two pitches... never looked like a starter ever.
