  1. Yeah, I said the same thing around the trade deadline. Like, yeah, he's not earning as much as he could in arb these last couple of years of his control, but that's not a lot anyway. He will be a free agent probably a year or 2 earlier than he would have been had they actually made him a starter in the minors first. Assuming he is mostly healthy and great over the next two years, he is in a position where he can sign a long term deal when he is a free agent with an opt-out or two.
  2. God I hope so. Not good enough to get something good back but at least good enough to move and not have to attach with Crochet.
  3. Actually don't mind if he's just on the bench. Just don't take majority of the playing time away from Ramos or Vargas.
  4. I honestly would have preferred Outman over Vargas, for that reason alone. And left-handed hitter. Especially if you weren't getting a young, prospect who's clock hadn't started anyway. Of course, I would still complain that they traded for someone who's clock started and is older, but with the power of hindsight, I can say I would have preferred Outman to Vargas.
  5. Yeah 100000%. Very easy to do. Dude has almost thrown as many innings this season as he did from 2018-2023.
  6. He's way over his innings. He acknowledged this. He's actually worried about the health of his arm too. This is kind of a specific case.
  7. Lol he could just not pitch? They can’t force him to physically do anything.
  8. I just can't see any interest in him to be traded really.
  9. You mean they'll be difficult to find to be able to watch? Score!
  10. Crochet would be a great arm to have going forward, but he wouldn't help any team this year really. An O's and Sox deal involving Crochet can be revisited by the teams in the offseason and I'm sure it will be.
  11. It would be awesome if it got it's own app like Marquee.
  12. Less control, higher salary also factors into the returns. Eflin is easily the bigger get.
  13. No announcements of it being included with any live tv streaming apps?
  14. Crochet wouldn’t be contributing to a team’s post season this year so there is that as well.
  15. Yeah, I too have pointed out that Eloy only had like 5 good games there to start and has been mostly bad since.
  16. Actually, they would have. They had the second best record non-division leading teams so they would have been second wild card team. They just had a lower seed due to Second Place teams being seeded higher, and the Sox being the third best team in their division (tied for 2nd with Cleve but Clev had the better H2H record). Now, if they had to actually play a full season and had to go through that grind, they would not have made it to the playoffs.
  17. Apparently he wanted the season to be over lol
  18. I laughed at and liked a lot of comments haha
  19. Building something in your own image quite literally.
  20. This season hasn't been shocking at all lol
  21. Not even. Brings nothing to the table. I’d say AAAA guy/minor league depth at best.
