Can't imagine they brought in Maldonado for either his defense or hitting (brought him in for some other "intangible" reason) so not sure they would cut him early in the season. Korey Lee earned a spot with a good spring and has been good in his limited time so far (already more hits than last season with the Sox in 1/3 the games). Maybe Stassi is the guy launched.
