I was thinking the only spots you'd use him as a pinch hitter are 2B and backup C late in the game if you're looking for a bomb late. That is about it.

Don't really want Billy Hamilton on the roster, but it seems like Leury and Romy are locks (assuming everyone is healthy which seems unlikely). The 4th bench spot needs to be someone who can play CF. Plus, I think it's close to 50/50 Sheets makes the roster as the strong-side platoon RF for a few weeks while they gain an extra year of control for Colas. Just hope to have big leads early so you can take him out in like the 5th or 6th.

Right. And with this team, I would honestly bet on Sheets making the team OD roster (even if Colas makes it OD) out of need due to some sort of minor (hopefully not a major) injury to someone.

You can use the DH spot to give other guys a half days off when Eloy is out. Then the backups get a day in the field.

As said above, Grandal can play 1B on a sort of half day off.

Hand Romy or Leury a 1B glove. Colas has experience at 1B. Honestly, backup 1B is pretty low on the list of worries.

I feel like out of Robert, Eloy, Moncada, TA, it would be fair to think one may get hurt during ST or WBC and not on the OD roster. It’s sad that’s it has come to that. So you still may need Leury for depth, even if he’s starting to not fit the roster anymore.

It's possible Romy steals the 2B job eventually. I would also rather have Sosa in AAA playing every day than sitting on the bench.

If Colas makes it out of Spring Training as the starter in RF, I see no room on the roster for Sheets unless there’s an injury to Vaughn, Eloy, Benintendi or Colas himself.
