Hell I’d rather see him DH over Grandal if he isn’t going to catch.

I’ve come around on this. I feel like they’re going to stick him on the roster opening day next year anyway so if they call him up now or opening day next year, we have him until the same year so might as well call him up now.

Easiest schedule in the league (minus the game yesterday) should do that. Keep it up!

Being at the game, the pitcher set to make the next pitch, stepped off the mound, then set for o make the next pitch and then the catcher went to the mound between Eloy’s hit and when Engel went out there. It was a few minutes. I thought it was really weird he wasn’t out there right away as usually when you plan to sub a pinch runner it’s pretty immediate. Nice win yesterday but fire Tony!

And the fact he’s now the 4th person (2 current players) to speak out about the clubhouse.

I don't disagree. Just feel like they won't completely cut him until at least early next year. Just better have some depth lined up.

I think he will be back next year but you gotta pull the plug early if he looks washed.

It's possible they stick him on the roster day 1 to open up next year. If they do that it will look kinda dumb that they didn't bring him up this year. Although I do agree they should just wait until they get the extra year of control next year.
