He started 3 games against lefties and then came into a game because Pollock got hurt. He didn’t play at all on Opening Day (righty on the mound).

When Pollock is back, he should be in LF and Engel subbed into RF for Eloy/Vaughn late in games. Apparently it’s funny to want guys to play their natural position lol Engel with the better arm definitely makes more sense in RF late in games (key word being late). Engel makes that catch in Detroit and the team is potentially 4-0 ??‍♂️

Yeah hopefully if he gets destroyed early in games, he can be his own mop up guy ala James Shields. Going to need to save the pen as often as possible early on.
