  1. Wasn't sure where to post this, but did anyone think it was odd that both Sheets and Vaughn started in RF in outfields that also featured Pollock, the guy that we acquired to play RF? Could that be a sign of things to come when Eloy comes back? I mean DHing Eloy, having Pollock at his natural spot in LF and then throwing Vaughn or Sheets out in RF for most of the time? Edit: this looks like it was the case May 9th against the Indians, against the Cubs May 3rd, Angels May 1st, and possibly a couple more times if I keep looking.
  2. Agreed. He’s who I wanted.
  3. Probably not. Whatever role Alberto has now for them for 1/3 the price.
  4. I think everyone assumed long before the double header was played there would be a bad lineup.
  5. Probably platoon with Lux. Whatever Hanser Alberto is doing now.
  6. I can’t believe I actually want Ozzie to manage the Sox again but here we are.
  7. His arm isn’t good but the ball was very shallow. He had the ball way before Harrison even touched third.
  8. Awful send. Benintendi has the ball before Harrison got to third.
  9. He didn’t say Grandal was offensively challenged. Just that the catcher position overall around baseball is. He is wrong though about Grandal not having a monster year.
  10. Yeah I didn’t realize it was a lefty on the mound. Stepped away.
  11. That’s fine. Let him bat and if he gets on, pinch run him for the guy that is going to come in for defense anyway. Edit: stepped away to take a shower and missed a lefty was on the mound.
  12. Guess the OBP with bases loaded still goes down.
  13. Damn you’re right. Idk why I thought we cut him this off-season.
  14. Looking at Luis Gonzalez’s stats this year, really is a bummer we cut him after trading for Haseley.
  15. You’re still failing to answer the question “when” did he have trade value? When are you saying they should have traded him?
  16. And the 36 year old Abreu somehow never needs rest.
  17. That is correct. You’re just being confusing because your initial post (and posts after) say they should have traded him.
  18. I’d let him manage the rest of the season on the south side.
  19. Just two things here: 1) Not sure I would consider "Northside Sox fans" as tourists. 2) Yankees fans are basically walking cesspools
  20. You can't trade someone until a certain date if they accept the QO.
