  1. Agreed with Jason. Could have done Engel for Sheets and Grandal for McGuire.
  2. Gordon’s reasoning for why you don’t pinch hit him there for any of the guys on the bench was dumb.
  3. Gordon says no because you might need a pinch runner late in the game ?
  4. Is top of the 7th not considered late in the game, Gordon?
  5. The most important change will not happen and that’s at the top. So the necessary changes will not happen.
  6. Yeah it even looks like he slowed down the closer he got to first.
  7. Well I’m ready to write this one off.
  8. Which means he will throw a gem today.
  9. They showed yesterday during pre-game that the Sox have had 37 different lineups for 37 games.
  10. Yeah dude was a super sub during and before the rebuild and now he’s a main guy somehow
  11. You can still do that. Just mute the game.
  12. I’ll guess Moncada since he played Monday, last night, and tonight.
  13. Lol looking at the rest of the lineup, he should be hitting at least 6th. He can hit his golden boy Leury 9th to be the second lead off hitter since he actually believes he is good.
  14. Vaughn hitting 9th again.
  15. They haven’t exactly blown teams out and have had some awful games where they were blown out. I think just baseball luck.
  16. I don’t even think Goodwin signed a minor league deal with anyone. I kinda liked him but he should never be in CF.
  17. I keep telling myself that they are not fully healthy yet (and honestly, may never will be) and to not completely judge them yet. Things do need to change like their approach at the plate. Fortunately, we are 18-18 currently in our toughest stretch in the season looking at the schedule. Survive that and we should be in good shape because I don't think any other team in our division is going to run away with it.
  18. Lol I don't disagree. Neither Vaughn or Sheets should be in RF. Just thought it was odd they both played there over Pollock.
  19. Wasn't sure where to post this, but did anyone think it was odd that both Sheets and Vaughn started in RF in outfields that also featured Pollock, the guy that we acquired to play RF? Could that be a sign of things to come when Eloy comes back? I mean DHing Eloy, having Pollock at his natural spot in LF and then throwing Vaughn or Sheets out in RF for most of the time? Edit: this looks like it was the case May 9th against the Indians, against the Cubs May 3rd, Angels May 1st, and possibly a couple more times if I keep looking.
  20. Agreed. He’s who I wanted.
  21. Probably not. Whatever role Alberto has now for them for 1/3 the price.
