  1. They have added to their rotation as well.
  2. That crossed my mind yesterday. Pretty much the only guy you would move Yoan to 2B for. Better idea than Vaughn and Burger at 2B.
  3. It sucks the Cubs took Suzuki off the market instead of a contender. Now Conforto should be in play for those teams (SD, SF, BOS, etc).
  4. Interesting thing I read the other day about Laureano: since he still has 27 games left of his suspension, he will have 4 years of control left instead of 3 since he won't get service time while being suspended.
  5. Still possible. I know we've been reading they want prospects who are farther away but you still need some players at the MLB level. Maybe they break out and you can flip them in a couple years for guys who fit in the competitive window you are trying to create.
  6. Just breaking it down on a year to year basis. You can also carry the guys in the first group that are signed for mulitple years and then figure in more awful 1 year deals for 2023 that will happen lol
  7. As of right now before seeing the Schwarber deal, Spotrac has them at $176 mill for the luxury tax number. Why not both? Edit: so just under $20 mill a year (we'll just round up). So $196 mill luxury tax number.
  8. I think Seth Brown will play 1B. They also signed Eric Thames to a minor league deal this off-season who I figure they would plug in there.
  9. They might sign Schwarber too.
  10. You never know in a short series but yeah, they can run into a couple good righties at the top of a rotation again and be doomed.
  11. I too saw it somewhere but can't find it. Somewhere here or someone shared it on Facebook. Either way, a $5.5 guarantee, possibly $9.5 mill. Edit: nvm I can't find it. I give up lol
  12. God damn this isn't going to be resolved soon the way suitors keep jumping in
  13. I had a feeling that was going to happen.
  14. I think he would take a high AAV 1 year deal before accepting that.
  15. He on that Bobby Bonilla plan?
  16. They set the market on aging catchers and relievers ha
  17. I'm hoping that something else kind of falls into their laps and then bench is catcher, Harrison, Leury, Engel but I also won't hold my breathe haha
  18. Luckily, they can still save this "meh" offseason.
  19. It would be really puzzling to sign a right-handed bat for RF after settling in on a platoon that doesn't even work at 2B.
  20. Without looking at anything, I'm guessing this is the case.
  21. Against righties, same. I'm down for moving Moncada down in the order and the other guys up 1 against lefties though.
  22. Gallen isn't going to be ready for Opening Day due to his shoulder.
  23. Yeah at that point go with Leury and Romy instead of Harrison. It's also going to look bad if Brad Miller signs another 1 year deal under $3 mill haha
