  1. Probably. And I feel like people are looking waaaaay into nothing about a Tweet lol
  2. At this point, it feels like the only chance is if there is a serious injury to an outfielder. Unfortunately, there is still time for Eloy to run into a wall.
  3. I don't expect them to bring Micker to Chicago with one of the extra spots (or the 26th spot over Romy/Medick) but I don't think he would take at bats away from Vaughn if they did. Probably from Sheets in a platoon where he faces only lefties. I also feel like there is a decent chance he clears waivers.
  4. How many free agent years would that have bought out? 1 right?
  5. Yeah who knows what his status is now. Just seems hypocritical to require it for the minor leaguers but bring in unvaxed guys anyway. I know they can’t require it for the MLB team but it can definitely factor in to who they bring in.
  6. Are any of the free agents they signed this winter unvaxed? Would seem odd to require it for your minor leaguers and then target guys in free agency who are not.
  7. You’re on to something! And if he works as an opener, he can DH and stay in the game when they take him out thanks to the new Ohtani rule lol
  8. Rotation depth taking a hit already.
  9. I love Robert in the 2-hole so I can get on board with that. Or Grandal 3.
  10. Kimbrel + some cash for McGuire and Pinto (prospect acquired in Tapia deal)?
  11. I did forget about that point haha
  12. Opens up a spot for a left-handed bat as they are heavily right-handed. Edit: I guess Tapia is left-handed but I still feel he is a bench option. Plus the Jays were linked to a lot of position players over the off-season. Feel like this is the final nail in the Conforto coffin. Edit 2: forgot about vac status so disregard
  13. The core definitely still deserves support and the offense might be fine in RF. The defense on the other hand, I won’t speak to how bad that will be haha
  14. Bad OF contracts? I count Myers in one of the corners but the other spot is projected for NRI and former Sox legend Nomar Mazara. And then Grisham in CF.
  15. If he’s on the roster Opening Day, they fucked up.
  16. A lot of decent to good relievers signed for less than we gave these guys and for one year. Crazy. Looking at the free agent tracker, I count 8. Sign 3 of those guys and you’ve suddenly saved significant money haha
  17. Huh? Have they not been saying that for about a week now?
  18. Is that really bold? We were supposed to have a great pen last year as well haha
  19. Definitely seems like if they wanted him he would be here already.
  20. Didn’t really feel like starting a new thread, but did T-Mobile do their free MLBTV subscription yet for this season? I joined T-mobile last July so not really sure exactly when you can sign up for free.
  21. No one is stating otherwise lol
  22. At this point, I think it would take an injury to an outfielder (or Abreu) for the Sox to be seriously interested.
  23. Angels seem like a too obvious answer right?
  24. Packaged in a deal with Kimbrel or for someone farther away that doesn’t have to be added to a 40-man?
