Hahn has been awful churning over the talent at the low end of the 40-man roster.

I know they have moved it back a day in the past to not conflict with guys getting traded in the middle of the game (example: would be pushed to today instead of yesterday like normal) but is that really the reason for the one extra day? We've been disappointed before. Also kind of off topic but kind of on topic: why was the deadline pushed to tomorrow? I figured they would prefer to do it today when not every team is playing.

Yeah maybe a rental player. I'd almost rather just trim some of the fat in the off-season than trade the guys who need to be added if they aren't getting something good.

They are but they also won't keep Hader past next year. They got 2 prospects, Lamet who maybe needs a change of scenery and another left-handed reliever.

Can't deny that, as a baseball fan, watching guys like Dipoto and Preller make moves makes this time of year fun.

Gallo is not a trade we should be hoping for or excited about. If it happens, you're just hoping to catch lightning in a bottle for a few months.

Curious, why wouldn't you look at his home ballpark, the best left-handed hitting park in the league?

There were rumors Vaughn was going to make the team prior to the Eloy injury. The need for him in the outfield just opened up because of it.

What is a realistic timeline for him? Finish the season at AA, start next year at AA, promoted quickly or start 2023 to AAA with a possible May/June callup to the MLB team? (Assuming he's not traded or any injury occurs).
