We say this all the time but I feel like there is always a move that everyone questions and says is dumb and this definitely qualifies.

Hosmer is a guy who goes opposite field a lot right? Feel like he would make sense on the Red Sox in Fenway, who don't get a lot of production at 1B as is. Not at his full salary of course, though it was a more front-loaded deal.

They didn't make those type of moves when they were rebuilding. They certainly are not now.

Agree with this but I think they can fill both. The lineup is stacked even with platoons at 2B and RF.

The bullpen is definitely the most important need but they can do fill both holes.
