How serious is expansion in the next 5 years?
Balance out the west by giving a city more East a team?

And considering Hinch is the guy Hahn wanted, it seems fair.

Britton's contract of $14mill was picked up by the Yanks so you gotta think, at the very least, a big market team will claim him.

I've been picturing a Bobby Valentine managed 2012 Red Sox where the season was just a disaster and he only lasts one season.

No one suggested this.

Yeah. Offer a higher AAV one year deal and an opportunity to pitch for a HoF manager.

Tigers interviewed Hinch and are already progressing towards a deal. Hinch played for the Tigers right?

You're executive of the year and you're not allowed to even pick your manager lol what a disgrace. If it wasn't for the lifetime security, Hahn would be gone by now.

The Tweet yesterday made it sound like a LaRussa announcement would happen today, right? If nothing is announced, is that a good thing?

I just saw the report on MLBTR. Their hope apparently is that another team claims him and picks up his $10m option so they don't have to pay a $1m buyout. I see zero chance of him becoming a free agent. I would definitely put in a claim. If he made it to us, you'd have Hand, Bummer, and Fry solidifying the left side.
