    Pointless to only deal with one team. Dodgers may have thrown a really low-ball offer out there on the off change the Nats accepted. They should have traded him in July when they could negotiate with everyone.

    Because teams can block other teams. Example: Giants put a claim in and win it with zero motivation to even discuss a deal. Then after 48 hours, Harper gets pulled back by the Nats.

    Yeah Russell on the bench as late inning defensive sub is a no-brainer. Dude's worth 2.3 WAR this season even with a bad offensive year.

I went straight to the suburbs after. The game ended at around 10:15, I had to wait for that 11:22 train and finally got back to TP around 12:30am.

    This doesn't shock me since he is Japanese. This seems like something straight from their culture. But it's hard for me to believe anyone would walk away from that amount of money until it actually happens.

    Damn I need to tailgate another game this year. I love tailgating. I went to a game earlier this year strictly to tailgate lol was drunk by the first inning of a game the Astros were up 8-0 in the second in.

    You're trying to tailgate? I'm going straight from work and will get there around 5:05/5:10 and my friends won't get there until around 6. I plan on grabbing a drink in the Bar & Grill until they get there. I usually avoid weeknight games due to having to go straight from work and shit train schedules at night (they run every hour or hour and a half and make every Beverly stop which means it's an hour ride for me) but I only go if a friend meets me from the suburbs with his car. Plus his company gave him free tickets for this game so I can't complain.

    Ha still relevant as the other poster said that it is going to rain in Minny. And the main concern for tomorrow's game is seeing Kopech, which could be delayed a day with a rain out today. Personally I didn't even think anything of it lol

    I'm with you. Not really into going to concerts. I've been to 4...good enough for me. I get asked to go a lot to country concerts and I always consider going for the women. But the people who invite me want to do 3-day passes (Lake Shake I think?) and I just can't commit haha

    Well you may not consider them as part of the future, but Rodon potentially may be in the rotation for our first at least one or two competitive years. Anderson has 4 more guaranteed years in his contract. How is that not part of the future?
