  1. It was a perfectly “fine” episode. Wnd I say that to agree with what you said. It was just kind of there, didn’t leave me wanting more, it was just fine. My biggest issue is there are never any “stakes” with Star Wars because they refuse to kill even somewhat minor characters. If they could have an action figure at some point, they basically have a “I’ll live forever” card and because of that, there is so much less weight behind the conflicts on screen.
  2. And she has totally transformed herself for this role. I really forget it's an actress sometimes watching, which is pretty incredible.
  3. There is a very small post credit scene
  4. I've always said Twitter should give you a 5 minute window to change things, then things are locked.
  5. lol, I've been there plenty myself, I get it haha
  6. Everyone has a different situation. Because you didn't have any extra money at that point doesn't mean it shouldn't be taught. In terms of what @Jack Parkman said....It kind of goes without saying I'm not advocating investing every dollar into securities. The average interest rate in a savings account right now is 0.06 percent. Any money that I'm "putting away" isn't going into a SA, it's going into Index Fund ETF or a safe bond.
  7. I know my parents taught me to put money into a savings account....which was decent advice when they taught me....but obviously makes zero sense now. Kids need to get educated on compound interest and what can happen if you start investing at 18. Show them those charts about how much money they will have in 30 years if they invest 2500 a year for 30 years at an 8% return. So vital and I feel like it's just not something that is taught correctly. It's hard to get an 18 year to buy into that, or understand....but I guess that's up to the teacher and finding ways to get it to sink in.
  8. Right, but again, LARGE difference between the fans and coaches/players. Most fans are looking at the long-term vision for the team rather than that days game. And I'm OK with that. Fans have 0 impact on outcome.....so if they want their favorite team to lose so they can get that prized No. 1 pick, that makes sense (to me.) A coach and the players on the field are in a totally different category.
  9. That was their objective last night and it sounded like they were on the right path until Rocky went Rocky. (I didn't see any of it, just saw reports that Jaime Faulkner was very impressive.) I'd also ask the question....why are we giving Danny the benefit of the doubt now? This city was tortured by Dollar Bill, Rocky seemed to press all the right buttons up until last night (and who honestly knows at this point what Rocky did or didn't know about the sexual assault cover up.) but now we sort of have seen his true colors.....why are we expecting Danny to be the right Wirtz?
  10. But there is a major difference here. A Front Office can have the objective to tank/lose for better draft positioning. That has become standard in almost every professional sport, and I don't see it changing anytime soon. The coaching staff and players should always be expected to do everything in their power to win as many games as possible. They shouldn't be concerned about what is happening upstairs, they should be focused on the game itself and performing to the best of their abilities. That shouldn't change, ever. When an owner is telling a coach to lose, that crosses a major line from the Sox (or anyone else) tanking/rebuilding. If RH/KW ever told Renteria that he should lose on purpose, or he would receive a bonus if they lost X amount of games, that would be wrong on many levels.
  11. Decent chance of that. He wants this to go away and for some bizarre reason, he thought his technique last night would work. Was really amazing to see that on display last night. And it shows you just how insulated someone at that level can be...never having to answer tough questions, never having anyone really challenge him on anything. I would imagine at some point when you are surrounded by that for years and years and years, you forget how to respond to actual criticism or tough questions. That is not an excuse for what Rocky did in any way, shape or form by the way...if what I just wrote above is true, then that's on Rocky for creating that environment, but I do think that was at play last night.
  12. Honestly, this all made me happy, just to see how far these clowns can burn everything down and how quickly they can pull it off. Fuck’em all.
  13. They have been two straight up Mando episodes with a hint of Boba thrown in one of them, lol. And as Kyle mentioned, the 2nd most interesting thing in this episode was: ...which are more in the Mando universe than Boba. I guess we should just be happy they've nailed the Mando character, which has been great.
  14. So, that last Book of Boba Fett episode..
  15. Yeah this one might get pretty ugly and have some lasting impacts in the league
  16. And if Rodgers is really done with GB.....I actually do think the Bears could be a player for the NFC North in 2022 with a big offseason. An offseason that could still include trading someone like Mack, but also adding some legit OL and WR help like you mentioned. Poles has a lot of work to do and I think the Bears situation is closer to a rebuild than retool.....but it could be done with a very well-executed off-season.
  17. Totally get it, and I think a lot of people will feel the same way.
  18. You're missing the point. Stop reading internet comments. Stop listening to the meatballs The Score puts on. You know how they say "NEVER read the YouTube comments?" The same goes for Facebook. And I'll bet you good money if you go to some stupid Chiefs Facebook Fan page today, you'll have a bunch of Chief fans saying everyone is overrated on their team, they stink, blah blah blah. You actually say in your post that you've been going after meatballs for years trying to get them to stop and think. The jokes on you for spending years trying to change the habits of a bunch of idiots. They won't ever change, it's how they'll always be. I don't think I'm a meatball fan. There are times I have meatball emotional takes (like when Grayson Allen decides to a cock for the 97th time in his career) but for the most part I think I'm a fairly level-headed fan. Why should I give the Bears the benefit of the doubt? Not Poles and Flus, but the Bears as a total organization. What actual evidence do I have that would tell me George and Ted got it right this time? Like anything in life, you need to earn that trust. And the Bears organization has done NOTHING to earn the trust of the fanbase. Only hurt it. So until I see real change happen on the field, I'm going to be skeptical of what they do as an organization. Doesn't mean I'm rooting against them, doesn't mean I want them to fail, and it doesn't mean I think Poles/Flus are bad hires. But if I'm asked to give my opinion on the subject, I don't know how I couldn't be skeptical. I know next to nothing about Poles or Flus. I'm not going to pretend I have followed them and really know their backgrounds. No idea. But what I have followed is the track record of executives and coaches George has brought into this organization since he took over......and it doesn't inspire a lot of hope.
  19. No, that’s kind of the point. You would pay like $20 a month for access to NBCSports Chicago via their app on your connected devices. You would sign up with a new log in/password.
