While I disagree with a few things here, this is a perfectly reasonable, well-thought out post. So well done.

You really can't seem to figure it out, which while not at all surprising, I'll try to make it as clear as possible for a small-minded individual such as your self. No extra charge. This is where things began, you stated an incorrect fact. You formed your opinion based on incorrect information. NO WHERE in that post did you mention you may be wrong. So I didn't call you out AFTER you said you may be wrong, I called you out BEFORE that, when you made this false claim. Get your facts straight. I told you they split with the Red Sox, which would make your previous claim of "only tested for the first time against a good team and failed miserably." This is where you first claimed "perhaps" you were wrong, which is also somewhat odd seeing the time it took you to even reply to my original post, you could have very easily looked up the Red Sox had won nine straight at that point, so there is really no "perhaps" about it. This is just another in a long line of shit posts from you that you just can't get over. You've shown time after time you don't know baseball, you're an incredibly negative person, and I genuinely don't like you. I enjoy when you continue to make an ass out of yourself, and I will continue to call it out when it happens and I'm around to see it. It's really pretty simple. So you can feel bad for me, or sorry for me, or whatever feeling you want to include. Go nuts, sprinkles. I'll be here, laughing at your shit posts all season long.

I don’t want to go down the whole unwritten rules rabbit hole again because we all beat it to death, but I think a lot of the discussion here came from a misunderstanding of what people were upset over, and it sort of relates to what we are discussing here. Yermin “ignoring” a sign from the coaching staff isn’t something 98% of fans here are going to agree with. That’s not good when a player does that. Again, I think almost everyone here believes if a player ignores a sign, that should be fixed because you can’t have that happening on a regular basis. If it’s a punishment, so be it. The issue most had is WHY LaRussa gave him the take sign, and then how he handled the “controversy” after. 1. He called for Yermin to take on 3-0 because of “sportsmanship” and “respecting the game of baseball.” That’s a load of shit to a lot of people, myself included. Still doesn’t make Yermin ignoring the sign Ok, but that’s not the type of manager I want coaching my team. Not when in Spring Training both the players AND Front Office were talking about having more killer instinct, wanting to step on people’s necks. 2. It came to light because LaRussa awoke from his slumber on the bench and was visibility animated maybe for the first time this season when Yermin was rounding the bases. When the media asked LaRussa about his little “outburst,” the Sox manager had no issue calling his rookie clueless and went out of his way to apologize to a team this fan base absolutely hates. Apologized for hitting a home run. I don’t believe this weekend had anything to do with what happened in Minnesota. I think the Yankees are playing really good ball and the Sox have been playing a bit over their heads without two of their best players in the lineup. There will be better stretches than this, and there will 100% be worse.

Wrong.

Some of that may be true. And I’m 100% more critical of TLR at this point in the season because he’s given us plenty of reason to be. I know for a fact in the first week or so of the season, I posted how that I felt the hardest part of the TLR stuff was going to be the players accepting him, but once they seemingly got past that in Spring Training, I really felt like he was going to be OK in the dugout. X’s and O’s. He seemed to be pulling the right levers. That QUICKLY changed after the Foster stuff, Hendricks on 2B, Giolito being gassed, etc. So there is no question that a bigger microscope is being placed on TLR right now. But I agree it’s not totally fair to not at least notice some of the good stuff as well, and there certainly has been at times and I’m sure there will be in the future. But as a whole..it’s been pretty bad, in my opinion.

1. Don’t think you know what the definition of a “reach” is, this seemed fairly cut and dry. You were wrong, I called you on it. You’re a clown and can’t take being called for your awful posts. Again, simple. 2. It “getting old” is obviously a subjective opinion. I’m sure you do feel that way. I don’t. So as long as you want to keep questioning anyone that doesn’t agree with your “logic” You better believe I’ll all over your shit posts when you make them. As I said early, be better. Because I’m plenty focused, buttercup.

Throwing a strike and getting out of a bases loaded, 1 out jam in the 9th are two different things. Very few people are defending the performance of Hendricks today. Everyone agrees the dude needs to throw strikes in that situation. A walk in simply unnaccetpable. We’re talking about the bigger picture here.

When you play logic police around here, get expect to get called out when you don’t have easily obtainable information correct. Anything else? Or do you want to keep going?
-
5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
It does when you bases your entire premise around this statement: Sox only tested for the first time against a good team and failed miserably. Swept. There was no “maybe I’m wrong” in that post, only after I called you out for being clueless. Be better.

Here is my issue. I don’t disagree with the logic from LaRussa here. The problem is when the first two got on...maybe make an adjustment. Bummer isn’t getting it done at that point. But instead no matter what the result, Hendricks was getting Judge, no matter what Bummer did .

THEY HAD WON 9 STRAIGHT COMING INTO THE SERIES. Jesus, for someone that preaches logic, you’re an absolute dunce.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
Putting your closer into a game with bases loaded and one out in a tie game is not “whatever” but it’s ok if you don’t understand the game, it can be complicated sometimes.

They split against the Red Sox

So Hendricks has to be better there, throw a fucking strike..but once again he's not putting his players in a position to succeed.

So happy for Vaughn. Love to see it

And the excuse from the LaRussa stans is "The guy is in the HOF, it's easy to armchair quarterback on the internet." It's such a lazy response. Access to information has never been easier. The point is it IS EASY to to armchair quarterback because unless we are talking about unknown injuries, we're working with 95% of the same information the ML dugout has....and this stuff seems pretty obvious a lot of times.

Yes, that’s a problem...but I was always under the belief they were in fairly large trouble once Eloy went down from a power perspective. They could have brought in a LaStella or something (which I wanted) but I don’t know how much that really impacts this team. It’s not to say you throw your hands up in the air and say “Oh well” but losing Eloy and Robert can’t just be replaced by depth, those are two tremendously important pieces to the lineup that thus far the team has seemingly overcome...but that was always going to be impossible to cover over the entire season. At some point those injuries were really going to hurt. And my point is I think it is fairly unrealistic to expect the Sox to have guys as “depth” that could really impact things significantly to replace Eloy and Robert. (That’s not even taking into account the Sox “depth” for Eloy was the best player in baseball for April)
-
5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
Yeah...that one seems a little unfair. Eloy is a 40+ guy, Robert should be at 20-25+ and I think we all thought Vaughn would be showing a little more power. Madrigal-Eaton are really the only spots in the lineup where decent to good power wasn’t expected.

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
I sat down today knowing things could take a turn quickly, plus I've got a million things on the to-do list. After that 1st inning...seemed like a good idea to start tackling them.

That’s dumb baseball. Time to spend some time outside

5/23 White Sox vs Yankees
This team has had some weird luck. He caught that ball, the runners did the right thing there...but some weird shit has happened to this team this season, not to mention Eloy and Robert...

The trade Theo executed for Quintana really doesn’t get talked about enough in terms of how horrific it really was.
