I don't buy the theory that Harper has been their #1 target all along. If that was true, they wouldn't have blown 13 million on Alonso and Jay.

At least Hector has sources and got the Sox offer right. Dan Clark is nothing but an egotistical douche who throws shit at the wall and hopes it sticks in order to get attention.

We all know the Sox were willing to pay Machado 350 million with the incentives. Just guarantee that same amount in full to Harper and I think they'd have a shot. Probably wishful thinking on my part though.
