There's a ton of variables to this, but what if the Sox had a future lineup of: 1. Anderson (SS) 2. Moncada (2B) 3. Beer (1B) 4. Machado (3B) 5. Collins © 6. Abreu (DH) 7. Frazier/Rutherford (RF) 8. Robert (LF) 9. Mateo (CF) That would be insane.

What about Frazier/Rutherford, Mateo, Andujar, Fowler and Montgomery?

Moncada/Kopech/Devers/Diaz = Slam Dunk Moncada/Kopech/Basabe/any of Dalbec, Swihart, Travis/Diaz = Very Nice Moncada/Kopech/Basabe/Diaz = Decent That's how I see it. I agree with Jose Abreu above. They didn't do terrible but they could've done better.

Unfortunately there aren't too many Jewish ballplayers these days so they had to be lenient in order to put together a team. I'm rooting for them for sure. #JewCrew

Shields' job in 2017 is to get f***ing shelled every start and allow the young pitchers to develop in the minors. I don't care if the Sox make him start every other game, he's crucial in the tanking effort.
