  1. I was expecting to lose this game just because Danks was pitching, but this lack of offense is concerning.
  2. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox lost today.
  3. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 05:37 PM) Lawrie is one of the few guys pulling their weight at the plate right now. His D has been more than fine. That's what she said.
  4. I'm no pitching coach, but I think one reason why Danks is always vulnerable and why hitters tee off on him is because they can see the ball all the way throughout his ENTIRE windup...he has literally no deception at all.
  5. It'd be nice to get a run or two early on.
  6. I bet Sale was a little extra motivated tonight since he had family at the ballpark.
  7. They gotta let Sale go for the shutout now, right?
  8. This is the best Sale has looked in a long time.
  9. Hopefully these new late additions to their lineup don't hurt Sale at all.
  10. Sale has been crazy efficient so far. Love it.
  11. 38 pitches through 3 for Sale. Not too bad.

Why does it seem like you put a comma after every other word?
  13. I wouldn't mind if the Cubs won 100+ games in the regular season only to get promptly swept in the NLDS.
  14. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Apr 15, 2016 -> 12:20 PM) I'm usually good for about 10-15 games. Even with a normal job now and no desire to go to weekday games, I still plan on going to around 15. I'm going to go to as many as possible if the team keeps winning. Plain and simple. If the Sox can break out offensively, we might have a special team on our hands. They're hungry and have a chip on their shoulders.
  15. It would be awesome as hell if the Sox swept this series too. All I know is that the fans need to come out and support this team. I know I will whenever possible.
  16. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 15, 2016 -> 08:05 AM) I'll be pissed as s*** if we get swept by the Rays while starting Sale and Q and missing Archer. Take 2 out of 3. I think they'll win today and Sunday with Sale and Q and lose on Saturday with Danks. Still, 9-3 after 12 games is very impressive. Especially considering that 10 of those games came on the road.
  17. QUOTE (GreenSox @ Apr 15, 2016 -> 07:48 AM) Well Gonzalez was cut by the team with the worst pitching in the American League so I'm not really holding high hopes for him. I think Danks being acceptable or Eric Johnson coming in and throwing are more likely than Gonzalez. As for Reddick that's a rent of an extreme platoon hitter who has never had an OPS over .800. A's would want Saladino for him and that would be a huge mistake. He's a major leaguer. Looking forward to our Anderson/Saladino and maybe Sanchez infield for years to come. The Sox would trade Saladino straight up for Reddick 100% of the time and it isn't debatable.
  18. I have a good feeling about Adam Eaton today.
  19. Let's go! It's very comforting knowing that the WORST record the Sox could have at the end of this roadtrip is 7-5.
