Unfortunately, this team isn't a WS caliber team yet. Maybe a three and out in the first round of the AL playoffs caliber team. But who knows..... once you get to the playoffs, anything can happen. The White Sox just have to get there first.

Me, Maury, and Guido always joke about that. He'll play a struggling player everyday until he hits a walk-off HR then, JM in wisdom that evades just about all of us, decides, "I'll sit him" the next game. WTF is up with that? BTW..... I am of the opinion that JM should have been axed in April. We traded for Alomar and Everett, now the Organization should go out and get a real manager. After all, the MLB players can't be wrong!

Hope all goes well since a Cub like Corey has more class in his pinky finger than a Cub like ShamME! In '01, Cub fans told me..... and I quote..... "Contenders work their way through the injuries." Guess we'll get to see if the Cubs are a contender since their offensive leader is out until at least ST.

The last couple of times Rowand has been in the line-up, he has produced. I wouldn't be opposed to an OF of Everett (LF), Rowand (CF), and Maggs (RF) since Rowand has been swinging a better bat lately than C Lee. DH C Lee a game or two if the Tinkerer must have him in the line-up.

They were talking on Chicago Sports radio here that the survey revealed that the Cub fans were the 2nd best in baseball and that the White Sox fans were the League's worst in baseball. St. Louis was voted best fans in baseball according to the SCORE. Think the players may have voted White Sox fans the worst in the league due to a few CUB FANS ????? BTW..... if attendance was the issue on players minds when voting for "Best Fans," how the hell were we voted the worst when we're in the same league as Tampa Bay and all 11,000 of their fans that showed up Sunday..... and alot of those were Sox fans .

Yeah. I also remember when he left the AllStar Game early one year because it was only an exhibition. Now he's lobbying to be included on the '03 roster since the AllStar Game is at USCF. I hope he gets on and I think he will with the injury to Sweeney. I also hope that if Frank does make the team, he treats it as what it is..... an honor..... and stays in the dugout at least for the entire game.

This isn't a first for the NorthSide's Skipper. When Baylor was hired I remember Baker stated that he was shocked the Cubs Organization hired a minority considering that the majority of their fanbase and the neighborhood surrounding the ballpark was white. Baker stated that he was unsure whether or not the Cub fans would embrace Baylor as their manager. If a white manager made these comments, he'd be f***ing fired already. Look at the pariah John Rocker became. Dusty Baker is a racist but since he's a minority, I guess it's ok .

Happened in Colorado too..... Eagle County. If he did it, hopefully he'll be found guilty and do time. But, regardless of whether or not he did or did not do it, it is highly unlikely he will be found guilty. Just a gut feeling I have.

And since he is not on the NL roster, I suppose ShamME will have to leave "Ole Corky" at home and won't be able to "entertain the fans" in the Home Run Derby
