I preached cautious optimism after the Cubs and Twins series. This team has let me down too often to automatically jump on the bandwagon full time after a 9-3/10-3 streak. While I am extremely disappointed that the Sox are 1-2 on the year against TB and 1-4 in their last 5 against Detroit, a team managed by JM wasn't likely to keep playing the rest of the season like they did from 06/20-07/02. Those 2 weeks were the highlight of our pathetic season. And our GM thought adding R Alomar and Everett would solve all of our offensive ills . Moron.

The Sox deserve to lose a game to everyone in their division when they lose to s*** teams like Detroit and TB Especially when they could have easily won all 3 games they lost too. Yep. Disagree with you somewhat Showtime. MB had that game where Jimenez dropped that 2 out pop fly with bags loaded in Oakland and DJ just gave up on it afterwards allowing 3 runs to score. Not to mention a few games where MB got little or no run support. Jon Garland..... today against Detroit..... 06/15 against San Diego. I think the pitchers have a legit gripe if they were to voice it.
