BTW Heather..... a closer is only as good as the team he closes for. When you're team is under .500, your save numbers are going to be down simply because your team isn't in many save situations. Even if Koch closed every game this season that a save was possible (not counting games where the starter was dominating), he'd probably only have 20 saves at the most.

I don't really see it as a "hate" but more of a fan bias. Gammons has made no apologies for being a Red Sox fan. Additionally, put your feelings towards the White Sox aside and look objectively at what Gammons said about contracting the White Sox and you'll find out that he makes some good points. Face it Sox fans..... JR has killed White Sox Baseball in Chicago. Only way to get fans out to the ballpark now is to field the best team in the ML's. Sad..... but true.

It did. Plus, Baggs has some personal affairs to take care of which I'm sure are taking up quite a chunk of his time. Heather has a new job over the summer so she can get a car..... at least that was the last I heard. That's why you probably haven't seen her.

Not sure what you mean here. But as far as I'm concerned, last Friday through 07/02 at least is the season. Sox are 5.5 out and Minnesota is going through a losing slide. If, after 07/02 we are 5.5 games out of first or more, without the White Sox being involved in a 15-game winning streak soon afterwards, White Flag II will be underway. Bank on it. These two weeks the White Sox are currently going through WILL make or break this season.
