    10 days!

I'm a dude and I have no tattoo's I do want to get the MetallicA crazy man on one arm and the SOX script on the other though.
  2. If I had to go out on a limb..... I'd say cw DID vote for K-layton. He was one of his biggest supporters here after all
  3. WTF is the billy goat curse? Back in the early 1900's... some guy bought a ticket for, and tried to bring into Wrigley, a billy goat. The Cubs wouldn't not allow the goat to enter the stadium. The guy put a curse on the Cubs and they haven't been to the World Series since. Sam Sianis..... the owner of the BillyGoat Tavern in downtown Chicago..... was the man in question..... Or maybe it was his father. Either way, the connection is there. i believe it was his pops there killa...........and if you go into the billy goat tavern there is a nice 8-10 glossy of them both.. the man and the goat....hanging on the wall above the cash register........they tried to get rid of the curse a few years back by letting the current goat into the park but you see where that got them lol...... Check your e-mail. I need to ask you something!
  4. I'm sorry..... I have to disagree with you here. If I vote, I vote for whom I think is the most deserving, up to that point, for that particular season. How many years did Wade Boggs get voted a starter in his twilight years based simply on name recognition? Just because Royce K-layton was a member of the White Sox, wouldn't you be a bit embarrassed if he came to the dish in the All-Star game and the graphic showed a whopping .110 BA? Or how about Mark Johnson? I would. It would tell the world that the White Sox fans were tools. Vote for the White Sox players that deserve to be there and vote twice for those where you can state a case for them being there.
  5. 2 words cw.....Royce K-layton!

So, cruise missiles and bombs that destroy civilians' homes and kill/injure/maim innocents isn't "terrorism"? That's the crappy US media for you. They've been reporting that military targets and Saddam's palaces have been targeted. Good thing Apu has pointed out to all of us that we're targeting civilian homes..... all the while, we're leaving the lights on for them.
  7. Prayer and politics? Change your signname to sideshowrobertson
  8. Clinton didn't flag wave and call people "traitors" to their face like this asshat did. Neither has Bush, Cheney, Powell, Rice, Hastert, McCain, etc..... so you haven't answered my question.
  9. How does he explain the fact that Clinton wasn't a Republican?

  11. Wright isn't a lock yet. J Stewart pitched 5 scoreless innings today I think stewart might be better served by getting regular starts in AAA I don't disagree with you. However, I think Stewart has earned a legitimate shot at SP if Wright is unable to go..... maybe even if Wright is able to go. But if they move Wright down to number 5, that will decrease the number of games that he'll have to start and give that elbow some much needed rest time in between starts. J Stewart will probably start the season in the minors though.
  12. Ya know, CK, I was thinkin....Maybe if YOU do more broadcasts, I'll be a little more lenient here! Mmmmmmmmmmmkay? I plan on it I'll be there for their broadcast opener on the 5th
  13. Hey..... they're 1-0 while I broadcast with them and they're 2-1 during exhibition games so far. I think they'll be a little bit better in the W-L column with this team this year than last years team.
  14. Wright isn't a lock yet. J Stewart pitched 5 scoreless innings today
  15. If the sportswriters voted for the starters I might agree with you. But clueless baseball fans, most of them casual (see: Cub fans) choose the All-Star starters..... not the fans that have as much baseball knowledge as one should to vote for who should REALLY start for an All-Star team. Ummmm, CubKilla...I thought it was the manager of the all star team who chooses the pitching staffs. Last time I checked, fans don't choose the pitchers. Oops..... sorry. I thought you meant all starters even though you mentioned only pitchers

    Nato????

Does it matter? Saddam said he had, and according to the UN-resolution was supposed to have, 0. it does matter in that 3 -4 non scud missiles are hardly the teports we had of scuds raining down on Kuwait Sorry cw..... but why does it matter when Saddam is supposed to have ZERO?
  17. Doublem said that Mexico would be deserving of a..... and I quote..... "Ass-whooping."

From what I've seen so far, the damage caused by the bombs we've dropped doesn't even come close to the "Ground Zero" devastation.
  19. I agree 100% BTW, did you see the SEALS on CNN save that oil rig that the Iraqi's wired to explode and all the munitions they found? Those guys are some of our best. no i missed it. my godson be gone for about a month. we knew something was going to happen.' you really have to see this in a bigger pict. I see the big picture..... trust me. While I am for this war, it sickens me everytime I hear of an Allied casualty. I think about the "what if's" as I watch the bombs exploding. I think of friends serving in the Iraq War. I think about how all of this could have been avoided if Saddam wouldn't have been so full of pride and had just stepped down or given UN inspectors unrestricted access like the world had requested him to do. Even though I am for this war, this is the last thing I wanted for the men and women of our Armed Forces. Nobody wants war..... ever. Me included.
  20. Numbers are just that..... although I did admit that even I was surprised at what CNN reported
  21. Are you a Black hawk fan? You know I am Red Wing fan. Can we agree that in the sports arena we can agree on flipping off Le Habs fans, Maple Leaf fans, and all other fans of teams that play the teams we love? I am not worried about BH fans flipping of RW fans because you be home for the playoffs and we be playing, eh. Or maybe we should save our :fyou for Twins, yankees, and cubs fan who so richly deserve it! Well, I used to be a die-hard Hawk fan. I'm more casual BH fan now. I have gotten fed up with the "Dollar" Bill era. And even though we don't see eye-to-eye politically most of the time, we usually see eye-to-eye when it comes to the White Sox at least. Either way, I always respect your opinion for the way you usually come across.

  24. Extreme over-reaction aside, I wasn't saying :fyou Canada as much as I was saying :fyou to the Montreal Canadiens fans and to the specific poster who categorized my, and many others here, political views into the realm of "ignorance."
