  1. Good stats. Thanks. Perception is reality. He is usually bringing in a guy cold off the bench which is hard already. But then they are sub .220 hitters. Just leave the guy in who has already had a couple shots already that almost always had a better average.
  2. I swear every time venable puts in a pinch hitter its a complete fail
  3. Agreed. 9 starts with all 3 Earned runs or less. 5 of 9 with 1 or 0 runs. Last 3 games 7 innings. 8 innings and 7 innings. He is at his peak. 1 earned run last 22 innings.
  4. Andrew vaughn with a 3 run HR in 1st AB of Yamamoto. The sox curse continues. I hate that guy but water will find its level
  5. They need to give noda credit for putting the ball in play on his batting average. He might hit .150.
  6. My fiance' and I are heading to Fenway next year for a White Sox series with another couple who are Red Sox fans. Going to make the trip from North Carolina. I went about 20 years ago, I was at a wedding up there and it was the day Ted WIlliams died. Interesting day to be at Fenway, we had the worst seats in the house in the last row of the lower level of right field behind a big post in our sight line. It was still a lot of fun. Hope to have better seats this time.
  7. I consider myself a Homer, an Optimist. But this post is delusional.
  8. I was really hoping to see who would end up with a lower average. I didn't think anyone could challenge Crapa. But Noda was like, " Hold my beer"
  9. The Rockies are the 2024 six. But just a bit worse
  10. Afraid to pitch to Rojas i see
  11. Crazy that Amaya is hitting .400 @ Charlotte and hit his 3rd HR today. Rather have him than Crapa
  12. Love a shutdown inning after getting 3 runs
  13. It also helps that at this time all but 2 AL teams are within 5 games of the wild card and we are 1 of them. In the NL there are 5. So there might be a lot of teams not selling this year. I wonder how many other pitchers there are out the on the market. Keller and Faulter from the pirates. Cabrera and Alcantara from Marlins. But Alcantara would be selling real low. Maybe the twins look to sell off Pablo Lopez or Ryan. I don't think there are that many decent SPs that will be out there. Supply and demand
  14. My fiance says the same thing. I try to explain why we need to. She keeps saying we trade everyone who is remotely good.
  15. I wouldn't mind giving Houser a 2 year deal if we didn't have so many you guys expected to come up next year. He is really good. Could be a real innings eater to save the young guys and. Should get a decent return if he keeps it up. Maybe someone pulls the trigger this week a few weeks early.
  16. It wasn't a terrible throw. Wasn't good either. Think Vargas couldn't find it
