Not sure I really like the way it has been with the 1 and done wild card game, so I don't have a problem with the top 2 teams getting a bye and the others playing a 3 game series if that is how it will be constructed.

China abstained on the UN vote about Ukraine so it is interesting if they are sanctioning Russia. From what I've heard, Russia has large cash reserves so sanctions might not affect them much for a year or more. My concern is with Europe caving when energy prices skyrocket even more. Prayers for the Ukranian people and to the I'm sure many Russians who never wanted any of this.

You know they are now accepting gifts of real estate if you are so inclined, southsider. You'd probably get a nice vacation voucher for your effort.

Had planned to start visiting ballparks around the league with my son starting this season...when the Sox are the visiting team. Had planned on driving to Toronto and visiting Niagara Falls when up there but not sure that'll work out this year. Maybe I will keep the 1st road trip local to KC or Detroit. I am also considering a longer trip down to Tampa...with a stop to check out some caves on the way. I'll reconsider later when we have an actual schedule for the MLB season.

When the hot chocolate and coffee vendors outnumber the beer vendors....you know you're at an April ballgame. We still have the large and very warm White Sox blanket from over 25 years ago that I bought my girlfriend (and now wife) from the gift shop when I took her to a game in April.....she no longer attends April baseball contests.....I can get her to go to a game in May if I pull the birthday card but it usually ends up being a pizza, couch and game on the TV date....and I've got a blanket for her if she gets chilly.

Hey it’s a long offseason and these guys need to get their rest so that they are ready and healthy when it matters….I know that worked great for the White Sox last season. Process over outcome.

I've been watching a lot of CNBC as well for the curling. I enjoy the strategy. I remember when it was nearly impossible to find any Olympic curling coverage...it's cool that it gets so much more coverage now....I guess we can thank the current US skip for his surprise gold medal run last time.

I've actually enjoyed watching the mixed doubles curling matches. The strategy they use is interesting and I enjoy hearing them yell "SWEEP" at each other in all the different languages.

Fun little fact about that game....I remember the Sox absolutely rocked Finley and I'm not sure he even got out of the 1st inning....Luckily Nancy was not fired for playing Steam as he exited.

Finley was married to Tawny Kitaan and it was a troubled Marriage to say the least and.....
