Maybe they are thinking of going with a bullpen game in the 5th starter slot until Clayton Richard is available? I like Detwiler where he is now much more than him as a starter from what we've seen in the past. I would love to see Dunning get a shot though.

I am very interested to see how the Sox match up against the Twins when they play them at the end of this month and middle of September. If the Sox bullpen stays strong, it could be a whole new ballgame.

The White Sox are showing they are the young marquis talent in the league to showcase in the Field of Dreams Game. Screw ESPN and the playing against the Yankees crap. I say the winner of this year's World Series win the right to play the White Sox in Iowa in the 2021 game....and if it ends up being an intrasquad game, so be it!!

What a crazy fun season....that is 2 times in a week that hustling to beat out a potential dp is absolutely huge in the win.

I would say stretch out Detwiler to help with the rotation but he's become too valuable in his new role!!

Just my 2 cents but I find this argument about posting here perplexing. I have rarely found people to be overly sensitive on this site. Posters joke around and have fun with each other and most people understand that. For me, if a topic becomes political, etc I just do not respond and/or ignore the thread. If I've missed something egregious recently, I apologize. It's also possible people have blocked my posts, so to hell with them although since they've blocked me they won't see this so never mind.

I didn't realize that EE has known Eloy for awhile until recently. He will be a great influence for Eloy in this short season and I think Edwin will heat up at least a couple of times and make this lineup even more dangerous.
