  1. Do the Sox leave Cishek off the playoff roster?
  2. Imagine there's no scoring, it's easy if you try.
  3. Ok I get you now Ricky. Let the Reds get up big so Crochet can come in a no pressure situation. Brilliant sir, just brilliant.
  4. Wow, is he slumping.
  5. Ok boys, let's make this interesting
  6. Let's put up an improbable 7 spot and get Gonzalez a W ?
  7. I'm torn between wanting to see that and wanting him to stay cold so he won't start in the playoffs because I have no confidence he will deliver in those playoffs.
  8. Another oppo single....what we got him for
  9. Oh jusy give him the green light, what is there to lose.
  10. He's ok with me just based on the "don't strap it on" which left Hawk speechless ?
  11. Mazara's been hung over all season?
  12. I'm glad the Stiever family wasn't on camera for that.
  13. Mazara gets to start every game after his replacement gets 2 hits...those are just the rules, I didn't make them up, they are just what they are.
  14. This post is just cruel and unusual punishment for someone stuck at work but
  15. Hey I just came to see if tonight's lineup was posted yet and WOW...I actually love this. Service Time be damned....It's GO Time now!!!

I would say that McNallys and other bars on Western Ave in Beverly/Morgan Park would disagree with you there.
  17. I could not agree with you more. I know he is in a covid funk right now, but Moncada's extension could also be attributed to the Abreu extension as well. Hell, for me that Jose extension was paid in full by that first Cubs series this season.
  18. Terrific, thanks. I am really rooting for him to seize one of the spots in the rotation next year. That would be tremendous to the rebuild (if we can still call it that...do we call it the contention window now?)
  19. I just wonder if the Sox internally think that Kopech will ever reach that ceiling here. I do just have a feeling that he will be traded this offseason. I do not advocate for it, just would not be surprised if it happens...maybe as a piece traded to get a current major leaguer from a club trying to shed payroll?
  20. Last year, I was not sure about whether the Sox should extend Jose...then I saw the story of Abreu's Amigos and what he does with those developmentally disadvantaged youngsters. The story showed Jose interacting with them with such love. At the end of that story, I was very sad at the prospect that Jose might not be a White Sox for his whole career. Jose Abreu is such a genuine guy who works his butt off and leads this club by example. I am so happy at the outstanding season he has had to really show how vital his extension was to the success of this ballclub.

Under pressure he justs get the job done. I go back to that game where the ball went through Grandal's legs on the throw home. It was a blown save, but against all odds Colome kept that game tied and the Sox won it. If that ball does not get past Grandal, Colome might have still done his magic and gotten the save after all. Things do not seem to rattle him and that is what you want in a closer imho.
