It's official. I hate the man on 2nd in extras. I also reserve the right to change that opinion based on the next Sox extra inning game.

It seems like we need to beat up on our other opponents and go for the wildcard. We play like crap against the Twins and Cleveland. Lucky we weren't swept but should have won 2 out of 3. Oh well, better play well against the Tigers starting tomorrow.

Thanks. I just checked the box score. It looks like Foster pitched well. I thought they were going to follow up Foster with Detwiler? BTW, I am a little ashamed to say that I have no clue who D. Anderson is.

Just turned on the game this inning. I do not know what the hell happened in the rest of the game...but I like what I see from Burdi so far.

Since Kaplan is a die hard Cubby fan, I can understand that animosity. I loved Q on the South Side, and further really love the return we got in Eloy and Cease.

Yep, I agree. Why change a winning hand with Detwiler. He might not be in their medium or long term plans for the bullpen but he has looked great this year. With bullpens, you have to roll with who is hot imho.

I think I will listen to the radio broadcast. My dad used to carry the radio around the house listening to the games. I'm getting old enough to continue that tradition.

Rongey used to post here and he dated Ginger Zee? Why did I waste so much of my life trolling at flying sock.com. ? I'm also shocked to learn Rongey was even a Sox fan. I never got that impression from his post games.

It's awfully tough to sweep a 4 game series, which I consider this to be. Win tomorrow and take 3 out of 4. Just win series boys. Now, if you want to continue winning 6 in a row that's fine too.

I haven't really listened/watched a post game broadcast much since the old radio days on the score. I would tune in after a loss just to hear Chris Rongey lose his shit over the negative callers. He would get himself so worked up.
