Oh, sorry the thread title says BOS@NYY so that's why I assumed.

Do the Yankees have more wins against Boston head to head? Is that why they are playing in New York even though both have the same overall record?

White Sox playoff position tracker
So that would be Monday tie breaker game #1, Tuesday tie breaker game #2, Wednesday Wildcard game, Thursday ALDS game #1 against the Rays. Am I right with that?

Giants/Dodgers final 12 games
It balances out. The AL East has four 90 win teams and one 50 win team. The AL Central has one 90 win team and four 70 win teams. For example.

I think this is the only "meaningless" white sox regular season game they will have played this season.

Gavin Sheets - STUD
Well let's get Gavin something Jim unfortunately was never able to add to his illustrious career...a World Series Ring.

Summertime and the Livin is Easy - Travel Plans
Northern Michigan, specifically the Lelanau Peninsula by Traverse City, is absolutely stunning, and it is SO much fun. Go in the Fall to get the colors of the changing trees. One of the most beautiful parts in the country. Highly recommend

Oh I absolutely agree Gavin is the superior player. His makeup, swing and body type just remind me of Palka. I think Palka actually had a shorter swing, but Gavin has much better eye and bat control, while still having quick wrists, leading to better results. I LOVE how he's been just hitting what the pitchers have been giving him. Going the opposite way, soft duck snorts dumped over the infielders' heads, and of course the rockets into the right field seats.

Yeah that sucks. Lets go with a conference system like the NBA with seeds. You still play a lot of your games with the teams in your divisions, but your place in the postseason bracket would be determined based on your overall record in the conference/league rather than just the division. I would also like to see more interdivisional games played within leagues. I also like the points system in hockey. Wish baseball could incorporate something like that with extra innings. But Manfred and Co would rather put a runner on 2B to leadoff the 10th.

Me too. But damn Palka sure was fun when he was here. Palk smash baby! Also Palka Parties were all the rage.

I think the Sox are gonna roll with Sheets at DH for the postseason and into 2021. Reminds me a bit of Daniel Palka.

We might be catching the Astros at the right time. They aren't playing their best right now, Sox are hot. Let's hope 3 days off before the big first game doesn't cool off the good guys.

Should Leury Garcia start over Hernandez at 2nd base vs. Stros ?
I can think of one worse.
-
Should we trade for Machado
And Jerry should pay him. He should be one of our primary targets this offseason, along with a starting pitcher and a bullpen piece.

Luis Robert, closing in on one full season statistically
All I was saying was he has a chance to pass Frank as the greatest White Sox player in the history of the franchise. He just needs to stay healthy, and stay with the team. I don't see how that is diminishing Frank's greatness...everyone knows he's the best in White Sox history, currently.

And the chance of Yoan Moncada hitting a homerun last night was 3%. Guess who beat those odds.

Luis Robert, closing in on one full season statistically
As long as he stays healthy, Robert will surpass The Big Hurt in terms of WAR, offensive numbers, and just overall value due to his position, defensive ability, and speed. He could be this franchise's MVP in it's history, so long as he chooses to stay here.
