  1. I know but...still. Like how many of these guys are going to go unsigned into the season?
  2. I legit cannot believe there are still this many high profile free agents on the market still.
  3. This year my wife and I were supposed to do our first "baseball trip." We were going to see the Sox play in Cleveland, see Pittsburgh, Mets, Boston, and end it with the Sox playing the Yankees. Was like the perfect trip. Obv didn't happen. We're hoping to see MN this year. I've been to both Chicagos, Milwaukee, and Detroit. That's it lol.
  4. Because he is so into himself that only he would allow himself to step down from the presidency. After he "acknowledged" that he lost earlier today, part of his "acknowledgment" indicated this was the greatest first term ever. He is so prideful and arrogant
  5. You are right on the contest. One look at the presidential debates will show you their primary objective is attacking the opponent...trying to persuade their views is secondary.
  6. Are you from another country? I too think it's insane. I actually usually vote 3rd party
  7. Watching a live feed, saw a protestor with a cubs hat and mask on LOL
  8. n
  9. It might be coming real soon
  10. So freaking embarrassing, and it should be to all Christians, that these people would do this in the name of Jesus. Just so messed up.
  11. Because that's literally the only thing you can say about the 2020 Chicago White Sox
  12. This wildcard seeding is so weird. Check this out: 6th place: Rams (9-6) NFC West 7th place: Bears (8-7) NFC North Outside looking in: Cardinals (8-7) NFC West So the Bears are currently in over the Cardinals due to the fact they have better record vs common opponents. So lots of scenarios could play out tomorrow with seeding, but I think this is the weirdest one: If the Bears beat Green Bay, and the Cardinals beat LA, all 3 teams would be 9-7, but only 2 spots can be held. So, the first tie-breaker employed would go between the 2 teams in the same division, and Arizona would win the tiebreaker over the Rams due to having a better record vs NFC West opponents. The next tiebreaker between AZ and the. Bears would go to the Bears, since they haven't played eachother but the Bears have a better record vs common opponents. So in that scenario, the Bears would have the 6th seed, Cardinals would have the 7th seed, Rams would be out, even though they beat the Bears earlier in the season and have a better overall conference record than both teams. Sunday should be fun to watch! I'm having a few friends over to watch the Bears Packers game (he's a Packer fan)...I'm expecting a Bears loss but at least hoping for it to be entertaining.
  13. Gotta risk it for the biscuit! And the last part of your statement doesn't make much sense to me..."it makes me nervous on the overpay with how cheap JR is"
  14. Happy New Year, hoping we see game 1 of the 2021 season in April this year!
  15. Then why are you still here?
  16. Tell that to the 2020 Rays
  17. Who is on the Dodgers level except for the Dodgers? If you think the Sox will ever be like the Dodgers, I have other news for you. And what have the Padres actually done to be better than the White Sox? They've made a few good trades this offseason and signed an int 2b. They haven't done anything yet on the field to prove it. Last season they had 2 more wins than the Sox, and the Sox probably should have had more if not for poor managing decisions. And models can say all they want. I know what this Sox team has and it should scare the shit out of every team in the league.
  18. I choose to be excited about the Sox, who actually made the freaking playoffs last year (and should've won the division and probably the first series if it weren't for the manager, who is no longer with the team). I choose to be excited about the team actually realistically winning the division next year and doing damage in the postseason, where anything can happen. I choose to be excited about the new pitching coach, Ethan Katz, and seeing what he can do with players like Cease and Kopech. I choose to be excited about a potential juggernaut rotation coupled with an already juggernaut lineup. And, yes, I am looking forward to seeing a new manager in the dugout, even if its not really who most of us want. And there are other things I choose to be excited about with this team. It's all about perspective man.
  19. Oh man, I am so glad I am not a Cubs fan right now
  20. Merry Christmas!!!!
  21. Why are so many people so willing to trade Madrigal. Who the hell will play 2B if he's traded?
