  1. Eloy Call-up??? Just kidding. Actually, only like 3/4 kidding. Part of me hopes lol.
  2. I'm not super familiar with how the rule works, but I imagine that would only be in effect if the runner was attempting to advance. Delmonico was just rounding first and was very likely to not have attempted to advance to 2nd, and the ball wasn't going in Delmonico's direction either...it was toward Abreu's at 3rd.
  3. Gio...you had a 4 run lead man...don't be that guy
  4. I'd bet money that by May 20 one of either Rutherford or Basabe is called up to AA and Eloy is pushed to AAA.
  5. Wasn't even close haha. Nice placement Yolmer!
  6. Eloy HR alert...dude is an absolute monster
  7. That seemed to be his trajectory with the Sox at the beginning of the year last year. Not really all that surprised that he is getting hit so hard.
  8. I find it very annoying how like everyone either takes the first pitch fastball right down the middle on this team or fouls it off.
  9. Thanks man. Great, going my first game in a week and Avi and Moncada will both be out, and Shields is probably pitching. Faaaantastic haha
  10. It's been over 10 days...any words yet on his recovery/return? Also, probably not the right thread, but any progress update with Rodon? I know he is "supposed" to be back late May/early June.
  11. Just tuned in. Both teams have 8 hits, except one team has 6 more runs...I'm gonna guess more runners left on base...
  12. As much as I wanna see him play, this might be the best way to go about it. Which sucks because I'm going to see my first game of the year next weekend when they play the Cubs and I really want to see Moncada play.
  13. Some time this year I wanna see Yolmer get a walk off hit then at homeplate the rest of the team dumps Gatorade on themselves. Like every single player.
  14. So many things wrong on that play. That's the right fielder's ball to pick up, he has the better angle. Then the centerfielder just lobs it in.
  15. That ball doesn't go out on a 40 degree night. Leury player of the game so far.
  16. And Fulmer magically finds his groove again. I don't understand it.
  17. Damn Yolmer!! It so SO nice to hear a excited crowd at home. Knock him in Jose!!
  18. Just tuned in. Seems like Carson is back to his old self? In other news, looks like a nice crowd on hand. Of course, rarely do the Sox win in front of big crowds.
  19. I agree on this. There isn't a rivalry until they, and another team from the central, are good for years. Not sure if they will ever have a clear "life-long" rival, like the Yanks and Red Sox, or Giants and Dodgers, or Cubs and Cardinals, but if I had to pick I would say Detroit. I may be biased because I live in Michigan, but even just proximity purposes, Detroit and Chicago probably butt heads more than any other duo in the central. Sox and Royals might be a close 2nd. Maybe if Milwaukee were in the division it might be a different story. With that being said, is there really any other division rivalries in the central?
  20. I get upset when I see an empty stadium, but when the product on the field is this...I guess I can't blame the fans
  21. I love the sound of the ball when it comes off Matt's bat. Unfortunately, with such a small crowd on hand, it's gonna sound like they are on the road when they score in this game...
