This is really nice to see. The Sox are actually having success against their division...that never happens. Boys are playing like a well oiled machine, everything from pitching to...ahem...dare I say...situational hitting *knock on wood*. Baserunning is still iffy, but, eh, priorities. While Geo has the spotlight right now, I'm gonna bring this up. Why can't he throw normally back to the pitcher, but he can throw a strike to second base of a runner is stealing? I dont get it.

Now let's hope this pen can do what it has been doing best...shut down offenses. Gonna need a nice 7 inning game tomorrow from Holland to give the pen a rest after what is looking like will be a long game for them...or a rain out Sunday (which will probably happen)

Better take advantage of these scoring opportunities. Gonna need to capitalize with Pelfrey up there for us. And the sooner we can get to that lovely Detroit pen the better.

Watching the Red Sox game, Sale pitching, the dude is a monster. Leading the league in K's and already has 4 in 2 innings, era under 1, pinpoint control and deception. He looks better now than he did. Moncada and Kopech better be worth what we gave up, especially considering his contract.

Must be a pretty positive atmosphere in the clubhouse right now. Going into an off-day to start a difficult road trip after sweeping a struggling division rival Must feel good. KC will be looking for revenge in the 4 game series next weekend in KC. Do your homework tomorrow boys, take advantage of that day off. Don't stop now.

This is great. Hopefully the bullpen can continue to dominate. I'm liking these young guys. Leury Garcia with the 2 rbi tonight, we'll take it. Also love the encouragement from Rick when the guys come back in the dugout after scoring. That little positive recognition goes a long way. You can tell he cares a lot about these guys doing things the right way.
