  1. Hawk and Stone went a good at least 2 minutes without saying anything...they are not doing a good job of commentating lol.
  2. One thing the Sox have shown this series...they aren't quitters. They believe they can win and they will fight.
  3. Was watching MLB Network and they were analyzing Shields...one of the guys said he thinks the reason these hitters, even the bottom of the order guys, are destroying shields is because of his delivery. His windup is almost like a pitching machine...it's extremely easy for hitters to time him because he is so predictable with the way he pitches, and his stuff isn't what it used to be so he isn't deceptive nor is he blowing guys away (bad recipe right there). He literally is throwing batting practice. I mean, the very first pitch he threw to Justin Upton was a changeup in the dirt...if anything that tells the hitter that he doesn't trust his fastball to throw it and get ahead. That gives hitters a world of confidence because they can just sit on his pitches and unload. Maybe he needs to change the way he delivers, but can he do that in this stage of his career?
  4. Was at the game tonight. Fans were absolutely electric after that Abreu homer, and there was always a sense that they would comeback and win. They never gave up and kept fighting. I think this game shows what they are truly capable of, and that they know they always believe they have a fighting chance. I love this group of guys, even though they can be extremely frustrating. Hopefully this game will spark a much needed winning streak here.
  5. Was at the game tonight..what an amazing game to go to!!!This team doesn't give up.
  6. Going to the game tonight, hoping for a breakout game tonight with Shields on the mound, although signs don't point to any of that. Here's to hoping!!
  7. What suburb do you think they would move to? Personally, I think it would be cool if there was a park built overseeing Lake Michigan. I always wondered why they didn't make US Cellular to face downtown. I think it would be close enough to give them some kind of decent looking background.
  8. I think what they should do is watch a tape of a game of a good hitting team like say the Red Sox, and compare it with a tape of a game with their own offense and compare the two...and make the necessary adjustments based on what they see and learn
  9. Post Game Live just absolutely tore apart the Sox offense..Garfein and Melton
  10. Shields going tomorrow. See what he's got. Offense just doesn't have it going. Maybe Morneau will help this lineup, but when you have the middle of your lineup not hitting, and constantly getting runners in scoring position with less than 2 outs not driving them in, not much can help. Guys not doing what they are getting paid to do. It's all mental right now. They need a spark. Talent is there, momentum is not.
  11. QUOTE (JoshPR @ Jun 12, 2016 -> 03:52 PM) Huh? Whats that supposed to mean He thinks the team is going to be relocated...
  12. Avi is just a liability in every aspect...
  13. I think Tim Anderson has strong potential to have a career similar to Rollins or even maybe Derek Jeter.
  14. Nice first inning there by Q. Would be nice to get 7 or 8 innings out of him today
  15. There really is nothing sweeter than handing KC a loss...and especially the 8th loss in a row.
  16. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 10:54 PM) I believe he can, actually. And that would also allow Abreu to DH Regardless, Morneau is going to be the DH come late July anyways. if Anderson does hit at least around the .270 mark, I think he will be the number 2 hitter. I think the lineup will look something like this vs RHP Eaton Anderson Abreu Frazier Cabrera Morneau Lawrie Garcia Avila
  17. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 10:52 PM) Anyone else agree that we should try a lineup like this? Eaton Abreu (DH) Frazier (1B) Cabrera Lawrie Garcia Catcher Anderson (SS) Saldino (3B) Maybe even consider Anderson 2nd if he hits well, and shift anyone else down. I think Saladino back at 3B like in 2015 could work out, and that way you let Abreu DH. You also give Frazier a break from 3B, as he is also a decent 1B Idk I like Todd at 3rd...can Saladino play 1st?
  18. If KC is smart they will be patient this inning. We can only hope they aren't and hopefully this is a nice quick 1-2-3 inning
  19. Todd batting .210 before that hit...I think he will start to hit better once the allstar break hits
  20. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 10:43 PM) Maybe I'm stupid, but the f*** did Jose not slide? Yeah I was wondering that too
  21. Joseeee Jose Jose Joseee...Josee, Joseee
  22. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 10:41 PM) It gets worse when we have to read something like this. Just ignore it. I do believe there is a ignore function. Oh I didn't know that. Thanks, will look for it.
  23. QUOTE (Insp @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 10:39 PM) I'm all for having Putnam out for another inning. Yeah, or at least another hitter or 2.
  24. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 10:37 PM) Can we just f***ing charge those last two runs to Robin? God I f***ing despise that idiot Literally your last 10 or so posts have been on firing Ventura. Why don't you contribute something of worth to this thread.
