His beautiful sac bunt that couldn't have been hand rolled better got Ozzie fired up the other day. KW obviously likes him and wants him to succeed. Lillibridge has a real opportunity if he can actually put the bat on the ball.

We may end up needing the spark the way the KC made our hitters look. The big bats will crush in the summer, but the Sox really need to be able to manufacture some runs in the cold months and playoffs.

The only reason someone on the Sox should ever be booed on opening day is if he is obviously dogging it. One crappy game should not bring that kind of reaction even if he strikes out 5 times with 3 errors. It's a new season. Give him a chance to do his best. Send Ozzie an email or call a radio show if you want Anderson. Wise is not the best choice but that is not his fault. Let the man try to make a living and win us some games while he is on the field.

It bothers me to hear him booed on opening day. Give him a chance. I realize the fans are not booing him as much as they are booing the decision to start him and have him lead off. He should not be leading off. I think Anderson should start because of superior D. I have no problem with him off the bench and I think the Wise hate should be directed at Ozzie who I think is misusing him.
