Remaining Wish List
I'd like Zobrist, Harris, and Hudson. Doesn't sound sexy but I think they'd give us tremendous value for our buck. I'd still kick the tires on Ozuna because he may fall to a prove it deal plus a good paying option year if teams aren't biting.

2020 Rotation Projected WAR
I think we are at the bottom of average as it stands today. Cease and Lopez were mostly awful last year and we need them to step up big time. I don't think Lopez can, but I have faith in Cease controlling himself.

Keuchel to Sox, 3 years, 55.55 million; 4th year team option
A chunk of fans like who? DK and Gio are much better than the trash we had last year. A pitcher that gives us a good chance to win most nights is the expectation. Hopefully, by the end of next season, DK is our 4th or 5th best starter and Gio is in the bullpen.

Sox still looking at Puig?
I won't believe it until Jerry confirms it.

Sox still looking at Puig?
Yes.

Steve Stone Hinting At Another Move: Not Puig / Castellanos
No shot. They will wait 4 weeks and get his year of control back.

Offseason 2019-2020 MLB Catch All Thread
Come on Braves, just bring back Donaldson to screw the Twins and Cubs.

Steve Stone Hinting At Another Move: Not Puig / Castellanos
The premise is that those 10 to 15 games missed early on can be the difference between winning a division or not. You don't need stars there, just some sort of competence where they wouldn't be a complete liability.

Steve Stone Hinting At Another Move: Not Puig / Castellanos
I like the idea of BZ a lot. He isn't great long term or playing too much, but he could have us some nice spurts.

Steve Stone Hinting At Another Move: Not Puig / Castellanos
I think the Sox want to win next year. Thus, there is no way they will have a lineup featuring Engel, Garcia, Mensick, and Mazara for 2-3 weeks. That would defeat the purpose of putting this roster together. Maybe Luis and or Magical get extensions, or maybe they sign better stop gaps. Or, maybe Nick Castellanos won't find a big three or four year deal and will settle for a prove it deal.

Sox still looking at Puig?
He would make sense for Timmy's tweet.

So What Happens to Zack Collins?
So what happens next year when McCann wants a big contract?
-
Why has Hahn failed?
I don't mind over payments on one year deals, or 3/4 year deals for younger talent. Sometimes you have to pay to play with the big boys, and that is all you can ask for as a Sox fan. Now, I still think we need to enter the star pitcher sweepstakes at some point, but we have time and enough talent to wait.

So What Happens to Zack Collins?
Please explain how the number he listed was sighted.

So What Happens to Zack Collins?
McCann and EE will both be here for one season, unless EE has a Nelson Cruz type season. Collins will have a chance to play a significant role next year, which is fine by me because hopefully Robert and Magical have adjusted by that point.

Why has Hahn failed?
Hahn has a chance to be successful but the facts are the facts, we have been horrible since he took over as GM. My belief was that he is limited by power hungry Kenny and penny pinching Jerry. This offseason has been a good one, but we shall see if it translates into wins.

Edwin Encarnacion
Are Gomez and Heyman not telling him, like they are telling the rest of us lol? It's all semantics.
-
Edwin Encarnacion
His sources are Hector and Heyman, he never said they weren't.

Edwin Encarnacion
I can feel the rage in that No! answer.

Edwin Encarnacion
I couldn't care less about that. You aren't gonna bench Grandal in pivotal games or big post season games to play James. This being said, it's best that we keep him just in case injuries happen. EE will probably get hurt so he could DH, or fill in for Yas if he gets hurt.

Aggregate numbers - will the retooled Sox be better than league average in runs scored, runs allowed, and HRs?
In all seriousness, it's tough to use home runs because MLB is changing the ball this season. Home runs will go down.

I'll pass.

I'm sure he wouldn't play for 11 bucks.

Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
The impossible whopper is pretty solid, I won't lie.

Edwin Encarnacion
I don't know why I thought he's been QO before. Okay, a three year deal then it is. EE is here for one year, so I wouldn't mind getting both. Load up on talent and let the cards fall where they may.
