FS: Luis Robert is Dominating the Carolina League
It is his left hand again, the hand with the thumb sprain that plagued him last season and earlier in the Spring. I am concerned about this. Is there any more information about this injury ?

4/21 White Sox @ Tigers | 12:10 PM CT | Lopez v Norris
Seeing Yoan and TA perform this season makes me glad they were brought up before some said they were ready. Baptism by fire can work for talented players. So Luis Robert isn't ready. Get him up here by June. And let Eloy learn on the job as well. He can't learn how to hit filthy sliders like Greene had today unless he sees them.

FS: Luis Robert is Dominating the Carolina League
Why are they waiting to promote Robert to AA? They are wasting his time and his career by having him down there.

Tim Anderson to be suspended 1 game for... language?
Ejection from the game was sufficient punishment. Suspensions were not warranted.

Tim Anderson to be suspended 1 game for... language?
As a White Sox fan, I no longer trust Joe West to be a fair arbiter of anything on the field that involves our team. If other Sox fans feel the same way, perhaps an on-line petition should be started where Sox fans can request the Commissioner to bar mean Joe West from umpiring any game involving the White Sox in the future. It would be better if this guy retires or leaves under other circumstances, but I for one am sick of that mofo fat cracker.

Collins ? You gotta be bleepin' me.

4/18 12:10 pm - White Sox v. Tigers (Nova v. Ross)
Sox need a lot of pitching help plus Luis Robert and Madrigal. But as they sit now, they are better than Detroit and KC.

4/18 12:10 pm - White Sox v. Tigers (Nova v. Ross)
Carson Fulmer has never demonstrated enough control over his pitches to be a legitimate major league pitcher. Not sure if he can ever change that, but unless and until he does, he is a minor league pitcher. Eventually, the scouting report on his wildness will get out and hitters are going to be waiting him out and wearing more protective gear.

4/17 1:10 pm - White Sox v. Royals (Giolito v. Keller)
TA did not flip his bat. He threw it in the direction of the Sox dug out and reportedly yelled something like "Let's go!" If you take an emotional reaction like that out of the game, baseball will become even more boring than it is for many viewers. IMO, the line is drawn where a player looks at, shouts at, or directly taunts an opposing player or team. Timmy didn't do any of that. Sending Abreu from first to home was a joke and lost this game. There should be some accountability for that decision.

Palka demoted
I doubt Palka sniffs a major league roster again. I feel sorry for him because he gave it all he had but it just wasn't enough. The Sox should have deployed Palka in a more useful manner in Wednesday's loss to KC. Palka was put in the line-up after the kerfuffle. He should have been told that after he made an out in his next AB, to throw his bat in the direction of the KC dugout and to yell, "you wanna piece of me,,,,,who wants a piece of me?" Then he could have earned his pay by busting some Royal arse, and, at the same time, going off the roster with more dignity with a suspension as opposed to a demotion .

Tax Day: Sox v. Royals (P: E. Santana)
Madrigal 4 for 4 Saturday and a Triple on Sunday at Winston Salem. Robert absolutely raking down there. Small sample size but you can just see the potential and of course the need for both of them to get advanced ASAP.

Tired of seeing Yolmer Sanchez in starting lineup
Yolmer has made three game changing errors in the first 13 games. He isn't hitting a lick either. Something isn't right with hm this year. I never thought we would see him suck this badly.
-
Sox @ Yankees, 4/12, 6:05 CT
Madrigal only has 25 at bats at Winston Salem and has 5 hits. I don't consider that terrible or a reason for concern.

Sox @ Yankees, 4/12, 6:05 CT
Just got home. Will this game be replayed on WGN later ?

Josh Osich recalled
That sounds arrogant and angry. I was simply asking a question.

Josh Osich recalled
So using that logic, would you want to see Luis Robert and Nick Madrigal come up to the major league club in the next few weeks?

Per Forbes: White Sox 6th most profitable team by operating income, valued at 1.6B overall
Jerry wants to win, but that doesn't mean that he wants to throw hundreds of millions for free agents who may or may not prove to be worth it. Save the money and spend it as needed. That is what a successful business does.

Per Forbes: White Sox 6th most profitable team by operating income, valued at 1.6B overall
I'm not sure what the reason or the motivation is/was for criticizing Reinsdorf and the WS for the stadium deal. Are people suggesting that a private company , even one that receives taxpayer subsidies, should then share profits with the government? Or that the White Sox should spend every bit of profitability on multi-million dollar player contracts? Or maybe, is it sour grapes that the WS weren't forced to stay in the Old Comiskey, lose money until Bankrupt, and then move to St. Pete? Looking at the tax incentive game one has to be consistent with their own political and ideological views. Consider what it would have cost NY taxpayers to get Amazon over there - $3.4 BILLION. And consider what proponents and opponents of that plan said, for example, Amazon would bring jobs vs the cost of infrastructure and loss of tax revenue. More on point, perhaps consider how George W, Bush scored big with taxpayers in a similar deal using the threat to move the Rangers as leverage. How George W Bush and the Arlington Stadium and Land deals This made millions for W and helped him in his future career endeavors.. At the end of the day, I wonder what the criticism of Reinsdorf concerning the Stadium deal is really all about. Is it about wanting the Sox become less profitable and then perhaps to be unable to continue having our team in Chicago? Is it ideologically based...a concern about taxpayer funding private corporations through tax incentives (and if so, were you of that same mindset on the proposed Amazon deal in Long Island) ? Or are you just a frustrated Sox fan who wants Reinsdorf and the WS organization to pump millions into player contracts whenever it is arguable that it would advance the teams chances to win a few games?

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Reynaldo will be fine. I like his competitiveness and his "stuff." Today he had a tough go on a cold day against a team that was on a huge hitting streak and power surge with umpteen homers in their first 8 games. Our starting pitching may actually be better than expected. The bullpen...that's another story but that is a work in progress. I wish we could see our line-up this season with Luis Robert and Madrigal instead of Engel and Yolmer. I can't frikkin' wait.

Whats the plan, man?
Opening Day weather has been brutal for the last few years. The Snowpener and the Opening Day rain-out where they let us buy concessions and beer for hours before calling the game. After those two experiences I decided that in future years I would wait until warmer weather before going to games.

GameThread: White Sox (Nova) @ Indians (Clevinger)
Sanchez with another key error on a line drive and a feeble fly out in our last at bat. I'm done with that clown. A very disheartening loss at the beginning of the season. Yea, go get 'em tomorrow as Benneti said, you know, when the Sox are off.

3/28 GT - Sox @ Royals (3:15pm CST)
Yolmer should cut down on the clown routine and stay focused more. If not, we gotta guy to spell him - Mad dog Madrigal.

Luis Robert to Start Season in A+
Nice video clip. Physically, Luis Robert does not look like a rookie. How much more does this guy need to "develop" before he is "ready" to play at the major league level? He has proven that he can hit fast balls and curve balls abd that he has tremendous power. He is as fast as lightening. How much time should be wasted knowing that the prime career years for most major league players are over by the time they hit thirty. ?

Luis Robert to Start Season in A+
If Luis Robert can protect the same thumb from being injured for the fourth time, he will be able to showcase his true talent as a hitter. I
