Conditioning following hamstring injury or surgery does not appreciably reduce the likelihood of re-injury, at least according to the link I posted, which I thought was well researched and worthwhile reading for anyone interested in the topic.
-
If one wants to try to understand the likelihood of hamstring injury recurrence after hamstring surgery or hamstring injury I suggest reading RECURRENT HAMSTRING INJURY: CONSIDERATION FOLLOWING OPERATIVE AND NON‐OPERATIVE MANAGEMENT Knowing that it seems unlikely that Eloy will be ever able to have an extended period of playing time without re-injury and he may have a hard time getting another large contract with any team. The fact is though that this condition is not his fault.

I will obey your command and stop posting but your name calling is misguided bulshit.

or need to get a job.

I was done with this non-issue but at some point I had to ask, once again, that this nonsense stop. Unfortunately some people are either misguided or have an agenda, or both.
-
The title of the OP is a lie. The Sox have never been looking to build in the S Loop and particularly not at that dumpsite known as Area 78. Give it a break already.
-
You don't know who you are talking to.
-
You think the Sox would be better without Eloy ? LOL, OK whatever.

My point was that free broadcast TV is now on par with digital cable in terms of quality. IMO, that is going to create a bit more demand for more free over-the-air broadcasts versus exclusive monopolized subscription based coverage.
-
Personally, I love the look of the red hitting gloves with the black and White Sox uniforms.

I have a small RCA brand digital antenna in my attic pointed at the Hancock building (via an app and my iphone compass) and my picture quality is indistinguishable from cable. If broadcast TV offered more prime content, including at least for me, the WSox, I would cut the cable. Similarly, after enjoying HD radio reception and fidelity at home and in my autos I cancelled Sirius. IMO, it would be great to have more digital broadcast content, especially sports. They can make money off commercials so no reason to charge subscription services.

Ramos made a nice play on a ground ball he caught and threw to second for the force out to end the game. Excellent win. -
Sheets and Vaughn platoon at 1B.

Now there is a hateful comment. Go away.

Ridiculous. -
Great win that was worth waiting for. Nice come back to tie it up after the Cards went up by 2.

Quote me on when I supposedly "hated" Vaughn. You must be thinking of when Vaughn was deployed in LF and Steve Stone and some posters here claimed he was a good LFer. LOL. I pointed out how slow and nonathletic he was. I took a lot of incoming for saying things like he was the slowest player on the team....he was but Maldanado might be slower now. Since av has been playing first base I have not commented much about his defense but others here have, so go after them , not me. I have no problem with the WSox sticking with AV until he comes out of the slump he has been in. I really would like to see him hit some home runs and cut down on the HIDP and if he can't maybe platoon him with Sheets. Oh my Bob, there I go again bashing Stone's buddy.

I think those who were most sensitive to the word "haters" in the context of a WSox walk off win can now take their tin foil hats off. Look, I don't discount criticisms of this team, just those that appear to be redundant, unnecessarily sarcastic, or downright mean...or some that come from the usual suspects, cub fans and yes, haters. I am among those who have called for Grifol to be fired and have been critical of players like Benninendi, Vaughn and Maldanado. I do not agree with how Kopech has been deployed in certain situations and certain on field managing, like sending Maldanado to try to beat a throw at the plate. All of that said, not enough has been said or done to motivate this team. It is too bad that the play-by-play announcer felt it necessary to light a fire at the risk of taking incoming, but he did. As far as the suggestion that Schriff submit himself to on-air cross-examination to parse out what his true intentions were, give me a break. OK he is a "homer" like Hawk. Good.

Schriffen says he was aiming at “Sportscasters”

What makes you a "TRUE" White Sox fan? I have been a WSox fan for over 50 years. I still attend a lot of games. Do you? -

The truth as you call it is that the Sox do not have the talent that Minnesota or Detroit have, especially with a line-up depleted with injuries and players like Bennintendi and Vaughn who have had a terrible start. However, in most of the 10 losses to them, the Sox competed and several games were lost by one or 2 runs. I was at some of those games rooting for the WSox. Were you or do you simply want to join in on the fun that sarcastic sportscasters on the Score or cub fans have been having as they relish in every WSox loss... or openly wish for Jerry Reinsdorf's death. Count me out on that garbage and yes, some hatred that has revealed itself. At the end of the day, baseball is a game. Don't take it so seriously, especially if you are just another fan of the game. -

Haters hate regardless of win/loss record, but the terrible start to the year has empowered critics to talk garbage. -

True WSox fans have been getting sick and tired of trolls, wise-guys, detractors and Cub fans relishing in our misery and every loss. It's gotten really old and something needed to be said. -
You don't kick a dog when he is down but haters kept kicking. Something needed to be said.

White Sox Winner ! South SIde STAND UP !!!
tray replied to CaliSoxFanViaSWside's topic in Pale Hose Talk
It takes time to bring an aircraft carrier about. Many hopeful signs since Eloy came back and started raking. Bennintendi and Sheets starting to hit and we are starting to get some nice starting and relief pitching. We had a lot of 1-2 run losses due in part to bad luck so hopefully the WSox will start getting some breaks. -
Our new pay-by-play announcer enjoyed some time in the outfield concourse getting to know us and the park. After watching replays, I liked the way he called out WSox haters during Benintendi's walk off HR. It was about time someone did it.
