4/27 Sox vs. Angels - Rain delay theater - 9:40PM start
If the Sox won both of the 10 inning losses preceding this game to sweep the Nats they would have a 5 game winning streak and there would be a different vibe among fans right now. Just have to stop blowing late leads and losing close games. So it was great to watch a 7 run 7th, the Angels bullpen implode, and of course,Yoan Moncada suck it in the clutch.

Decent defense all around , especially Tristan Peters, but several balls just beyond the reach of Antonacci, Vargas, and Montgomery. A lot of luck in this game for both sides but HRs erased another terrible start by Kay and a shaky bullpen. If/when Teel comes back, our line-up is gonna hit a lot of 'em. Beautiful doggers out there tonight. Thank you to all the Sox fans who brought their little pals out.

Teel injured in WBC - Grade 2 hamstring strain, out 4-6 weeks
Worst case scenario, I hope that the hamstring injury as originally diagnosed will not eventually require surgery to repair. The other concern I have is that Teel's aggressive approach to rehab may have only delayed the healing process. My speculation arises because we have been told that Teel would be going to Charlotte for rehab after this series or the other, he is still in the dugout, and that he has experienced some degree of pain when he runs. Some additional clarity would be helpful but I understand that rehabbing a hamstring is not an exact science.

Merk said: "The current rain, which has yet to arrive, is projected to clear the area at 8 p.m. More information as it becomes available." That sounds fair. So by 8 pm at the latest they should know.

Murray to IL with Shoulder Dislocation, Hays reinstated.
Is that your opinion or did you get that from White Sox sources? I want to watch tonight so I was hoping they play. The weather app I have looks like there is a sufficient window of no rain after 7 pm, but I know that doesn't mean much.

Benetti's new job...
Oh I get it. You are so funny cauli.

Benetti's new job...
Yes, I too hate revisionist history about the plight of baseball announcers...such maddening stuff with so much import to society. I don't care about prior baseball announcers. Are we playing tonight of not?

Benetti's new job...
I understand from a Reddit thread I read some time ago that Bennetti apparently enjoys throwing some shade at the White Sox during Tiger broadcasts. As far as I am concerned anyone who disposes of loyalty for money can fvk all the way off.

Benetti's new job...
Was Bennetti fired or did he choose to leave for a better offer from Detroit? And yes, Bennetti likes to eat during broadcasts and it was a bit gross IMO. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=jason+Benneytti+eats+during+broadcast

Benetti's new job...
As a Sox fan though, I am glad Bennetti is gone. The toy shelf, Sox math, eating sloppily during broadcasts...I don't know if he pulls any of that sh1t on NBC. Some fans do not like Schriffin which I understand. However, it appears that he has been trying to correct mistakes and make changes as he learns on the go. Look, he has a tough job following the Hawk, a hall of fame announcer. That and always having to demur to Steve Stone - an odd match in the booth. Look, if we win games, who gives a sh1t.

Why the Sox can't be the Guardians...
You make no sense whatsoever. It's argument for argument's sake, at best.

Teel injured in WBC - Grade 2 hamstring strain, out 4-6 weeks
We area aware that there was a recent "setback" in Teel's rehab and and that he is not ready to go on a rehab assignment. Hard to know what is going on or how much to be concerned about this as WSox fans and Kyle Teel supporters.
- Drew Romo up, Reese McGuire out

Game Thread: 4/24 vs Washington (GM1)
We are all waiting for Teel to come back, especially since Quero has taken a step backward this season. Antonacci will eventually start hitting and should hit some home runs. Maybe Getz can work a trade while the Nationals are in town that would unite Acuna with his bro.

“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
Yes, the multitude of Amtrak train tracks running North and South would ostensibly be eliminated after the proposed sale to Ishbia. There are some buildings on and around there but probably workable for Ishbia and Shore Capital. In any event, there will be a lot to work for engineers, architects and designers as well as investors no matter where a potential new stadium is built. I certainly don't profess to have answers, just my own observations. I like how Ishbia would like to orient the stadium and I provided my own concept of how he might achieve his requirements.
