  1. Schultzy not dominating but OK so far.
  2. NICE track and catch by Tristan Peters. He is smooth out there.
  3. Clearly a firing offense.
  4. Colson in a mini slump
  5. Vargas has been awesome.
  6. They already have. Maybe Roch replaces Vargas, Montgomery, Meidroth, or Antonacci, but maybe not. All of these players have some unique talent(s) that they are bringing to the team, and it is all working together right now.
  7. Also, fvk off and leave me alone. Personal attacks here are getting real old.
  8. The concourse around the outfield at the Rate is a unique feature that has been enjoyed by fans with 100 level seats for years. As a 100 level ticket holder you can walk completely around the park and enjoy concessions everywhere. However, I believe that as of the 2026 season, 500 level ticket holders (the cheap seats) can now access the 100-level concourse. The wide concourses and the ability to walk all around the park are a unique feature of Rate Field/Sox park. Ideally, the Great Concourse should be available to 500 level ticket holders, but it is just not working. Unfortunately, they have to come up with another solution. I love being out there and meeting friends, but you just can't have everybody in the stadium hanging out at the bars and concessions out there. If you want to enjoy the concourses, meet friends out there, etc., pay a bit more to sit in the bleachers or anywhere else around the 100 level.
  9. Trying to compare the reputation of a mortgage company to a fast food chain/monopoly is absurd. But you bit.
  10. Teel might not be 100 percent. I'm more worried about Fedde and Kay getting pasted and taking the Sox out of those games early. Sox need to replace Fedde in the rotation. His 94-95 mph fastball often found the middle of the plate against KC.
  11. Hill had a great catch in the 9th ! He looks good out there on defense. It is going to be difficult for Acuna to maintain a roster spot once Periera and Hays come up.
  12. I love Ozzie but his difficulty with the English language is limiting his effectiveness. Garfein has helped him a lot.
  13. Bryan Hudson. Who knew....
  14. Makes sense, Hudson has been lights out.
  15. Game does not look good right now. 3 run lead and bullpen couldn't hold 'em. Go get 'em tomorrow, I hope...
  16. The Weather Channel Radar: https://weather.com/weather/radar/interactive/l/4c9ff75840c6ce23fa10812d0f14b605af47896e9ca3fd59abdb9edd1b9d486a
  17. Sir Anthony does not have Closer stuff. On Sunday he got the save after coming in the 9th (after a hard fought rally to get a one run lead) and then loaded the bases with one out. As I suggested before, maybe try Bryan Hudson, our best bullpen arm to Close. The guy has been dealing.
  18. That was one of the worst moves ever...I mean by any team, anywhere, any time. Rick Hahn, executive of the year ? No. He gets a failing grade. Hahn didn't do his homework. I was glad when JR fired Hahn and KW but he should have done it long before. He trusted those guys and they didn't deserve it. Sox are pretty good now without Tatis and Machado, so I am looking forward rather than backward.
  19. I know they use different bats and balls in college than they do major league baseballs, but 467 feet is insane. Mickey Mantle country.
  20. A Closer should provide a team and their fans with some comfortable 9th innings - not allow hits, walks and create drama. Based on his last several outings, Bryan Hudson seems to meet the Closer criteria. Maybe try flipping the bullpen for a few games - Seranthony for the 7th, Grant Taylor for the 8th, and Hudson for the 9th. Seranthony was signed to be the Closer. So what? Believe what you see with your own eyes and act accordingly.
  21. IMHO, Tristan Peters has earned the starting CF spot and he deserves it. He isn't Byron Buxton or some superstar, but he fits in with this roster and their style of play. Peters has shown excellent range in the outfield. He has plus speed and makes good breaks on balls hit to the gaps. I enjoy seeing his well placed bunts and it seems like he has an uncanny ability to hit off-speed pitches. That and he has proven to be a clutch player. It seems like Venable, who played CF, can see what we are seeing. That is why Acuna is on the bench waiting to be DFAed.
  22. Hypothetically, I wonder if the WSox would even consider trading Roch for premier pitching- i.e., Skenes, Misiorowski etc. That might be heresy for some fans, but the Sox have pretty decent infield talent at all levels and they could sorely use an established Ace in order to compete, if/when they make the playoffs.
