  1. Boras about to make commission on $755MM in the next few weeks, talk about insanity lol
  2. IT’s got to be Marquez and someone like a Lance McCullers maybe (buying low after TJS)
  3. Put the Joc rumors to bed, all it does is cost us keg cogs in free agency, last year Machado, this year Wheeler. SHUT.THAT.ISH.DOWN!!!
  4. The QO attached to essentially paying a DH scares me tbh. Would rather have Castellanos.
  5. Castellanos is a better hitter than Ozuna... also essentially opposites, Ozuna hits righties well, Castellanos hits lefties better than righties.
  6. It's a shame India is effectively blocked by Saurez... gives Cinci the advantage.
  7. Except he still slashed 295/342/503/845, 2.9 WAR... 23 HR his career high, and he still went 23/82 on the power numbers.... predominantly as a leadoff/2 guy for almost 35% of last year....
  8. I'll take Archer with as well, that doesn't bother me. He's a better #4 option than most out there IMO. At least he has potential rebound value. and only costs $20MM the next 2 seasons.
  9. Not trying to be rude, but who cares? He produces and plays solid defense (this year being an anomaly)
  10. I'd actually be ok with Cesar Hernandez, he's pretty solid and not the worst defensively, but he could be a total Keppinger too, but Hernandez has more pop. I'd be for it.
  11. Win the trade, screw everyone else, especially the Dodgers lol
  12. Fly all pitcher in the cell is not worth the innings and probable low-mid 5’s era. Would rather resign Nova than sign Porcello.
  13. I honestly don’t think we will end up with anything more in FA. It will most likely come via trade. We fall short on Castellanos, and lowball Keuchel.... the only one that we could completely execute on (and possibly screw ourselves by doing) is Bumgarner.
  14. That was the whiskey fat finger... I meant 550.
  15. Get it right, TA is the primary catcher while splitting time at 1B when Grandal plays CF.
  16. That's what I'm saying. Potentially a 280/330/650 guy at the Cell... 35HR/100 RBI guy.... Could approach 40, but I think that's a stretch. Dude just looked like a bonafide alpha at Wrigley.
  17. Castellanos wasn't that bad defensively at Wrigley, he actually benefited from the shortened field according to fangraphs. All about mitigation... his defense is slightly below average once you put him in a shortened field, I believe it was -0.8 in LF (small sample).... -5.2 overall between DET/CHC... Not nearly as bad as his -12.9 2018. His bat translates the best to the Cell.... Doubles hitter than turned into HR's with a shortened field.... which showed at Wrigley.
