You realize he has started something like 6 of the 7 playoff games the last 2 seasons. Not a couple I so hope I'm wrong and they sign a RF and 2B bc if not its the same horrific team in the field giving extra AB's to teams and throwing the ball around for little league home runs

Yes I would have preferred Romy as a starter every day down the stretch and if he did well then let him start the playoffs. He never had a chance and Leury stunk up the joint worse than Romy would have

Then its a very bad signing. If he is signed to be a utility player, great. He plays 1 or 2 games a week to give guys rest. If he starts, very very bad.

Logic. He has started like all of the playoff games and started most all games where he has been healthy. They signed him to be a starter.

Horrible, borderline horrific signing. He is just barely a serviceable bench guy let alone a a starter (which this makes him). Just horrible that they sign Leury to be the starter at 2B

Its who they should definitely be going after. Higher yearly salary but much shorter contract and better investment and return imo.

Barring off-season additions or subtractions 1. Move Moncada to 2B 2. Burger plays 3B 3. Vaughn and Engel platoon RF 4. Sheets and Vaughn platoon DH (means Vaughn plays everyday) 5. Leury only plays once maybe twice per 7 days. 6. Kopech back to being a SP 7. Fix Eloy's stance bc it was horrible once he came back and the results showed down the stretch 8. Cut Keuchel loose 9. Cut hitting coach loose 10. Learn what launch angle is and start hitting the damn ball in the air
