  1. Depends who the prospects is.. But Gray would be far an away a better choice for me straight up.
  2. Jimmy or someone in the know thought RP. I'd like to give him a shot in Charlotte though
  3. I did forget, but mostly because we have Eaton. I'd love him for DH/LF. Have you heard anything? Didn't you have sources?
  4. I don't know why he didn't try this switch two years ago.
  5. If you had hopes for White Sox, you were delusional
  6. that would be god awful for the Red Sox.. For some reason, I think we drastically are underrating Beni's value. His defense will only get better when he leave the hard to play Fenway. I can't wait for The Show so that I can trade Lopez + for him LOL.. mostly kidding.
  7. But then if Cruz falls off a cliff, you're stuck. Thats a big risk for a 40 year old man
  8. I am thinking the White Sox overplayed their hand in the pitching market thinking they had a deal done with the Brewers.. No way they just missed on Quintana at that price, and decide to go after Wainwright for 2 million less.. no way. They had to have messed up
  9. That time was 2019 or 2020.
  10. 1. Giolito 2. Lynn 3. Keuchel 4. Cease 5. Wainwright (or some other low end old man) Kopech still in minors.
  11. Thank the lord.. What a horrible contract that is going to be.
  12. His FIP generally floats around his ERA. I'd gladly take a guy who will have a FIP around 3.9-4.5 and give me 170 innings than a guy who will have a FIPslightly lower, but only give me 50 innings. We don't have the depth to take a guy who can't take the ball for 3/4 of a season
  13. I am now on the Mike Leake banwagon. Fully aboard. He seems like the perfect get at this point, and exactly what our staff needs. Innings, and health, and more innings and health.. Obviously I wanted someone better, but that time has gone.
  14. I forgot about him but then someone brought him up. I think he is a guy we would be happy with. Always healthy, and can give some innings. I am warming up to him. Just a feeling he could be had for 6 million or so. Cheaper than Quintana.
  15. If Angels get serious about Bauer, I wonder if Canning could be had?
  16. Thank God. I want no part of Richards, even at 5 million.
  17. How did I miss Yates signing. Whoops. That's a fun contract for him. Roughly 50% in incentives.
  18. I'd rather keep Kelley than Madrigal. I have spoken,
  19. I honestly think I'd pick B... Gonzalez shouldn't net Madrigal or Kelley.. And those 3 for Burnes, likely is fair, but it's an awfully high price to pay for a guy with no track record. I'd be wary and pass. Now if you can work around giving Kelley, and instead Stiever or a different HS pitcher, go for it.
  20. same. I just want another SP, that can move to BP if needed.
  21. Richards hasn't pitched more than 70ish in a season since 2015 (1 time). Hamels - 4 times. Walker - 3 times. Paxton - 4 times. HELL, Rich Hill - 3 times. So yes, these pitchers obviously are also injury prone... Richards just can't throw anymore without dying. They are not the same.
